Praying for this young woman, that she is completely healed.
While I am strongly opposed to abortion, I think this woman misses the point of “in case of rape or incest”.
The whole point of that wording is to give the pregnant woman the choice of keeping the baby or killing it.
It’s as ugly as it sounds, but it is not my place to judge.
Ugh, I need a shower now.
Both the Father of this woman and the Abortionist should be put to death for the Murder of that baby.
John 7:24
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
If this story is true, the father needs to be in prison. If she hasn’t reported him yet, she needs to now.
And the whole situation at the hospital needs to be reported, too.
A civilized society does not confer to a woman the right to kill her rapist. Why then do we allow anyone the right to kill a child that has not committed any crime? Killing someone for the sins of their fathers is barbaric. Worse still is killing the child without the benefit of a trial.
In this case, I commend the women for fighting so hard to save her child. I weep that she was not successful. I pray for her peace and justice for her attacker (he no longer deserves the title father).
Your quote refers to circumcision (or other Godly work) on the sabbath. I counter that with Matthew 7:1
Judge not lest ye be judged, (2) for with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with whatmeasure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
This is only part of the story. She said she was raped by her own father. Is he in prison because of it? Has she even complained to the police?
This isn’t the 1950s or ‘60s. The authorities *will* prosecute these days. And a jury trial would be incredibly compelling. She was 15 years old when before and after he raped her, according to her. So none of the nonsense about implanted memories.
The statute of limitations for rape is long. Certainly longer than five years.
And here’s the real zinger. The man is a rapist. Until he is stopped do you think he will limit his raping to just his daughter? What if he is in a position of authority over other children?
This story is only part of a story. Until her father is in prison, the abortion is a secondary issue. A rapist is on the loose.
This woman was deprived of a choice (which was gravely wrong); her baby was killed, which would not have been right, even if she had chosen it.
I can’t help but wonder if the “father” would have forfeited his legal ability to make medical decisions on her behalf of her if it had been known that the motive for the abortion was to get rid of evidence of his crime.
We should be skeptical when it comes to reports such as this one that is missing facts. It is most likely a made-up story.
That phrase does not say don’t judge ... it says don’t judge unless you are willing to judge yourself by the same standards.
Not exactly. Christ was confronting those who wanted to kill him. His use of circumcision was only the allegory or analog in that case. The underlying theme was more aptly put as doing what God commands vice what man dictates (as in Pharisee's). The text of Matthew 7 is often misused to prevent judgment that Christians are supposed to do. Jesus was directing his comments at the Pharisee's in the crowd as the context was in ruling as a king or judge, not in discerning righteousness.
Pro-aborts use these “hard cases” to justify all abortions.
As a rhetorical tactic, I’ll “allow” for every weird edge case exception that they can come up with,
and in the extreme cases, leaving them defending aborting a healthy baby the minute before it’s delivered.
If it goes THAT far, I’ll ask why not infanticide?
I agree. It reads too much like an archetypical story, like it’s trying to hit all the notes just so.
Fake but accurate should be the purview of the Left.
many freepers would think this woman is just a plain old liar....afterall, where’s the video?...
The above verse isn't saying not to judge. It is saying not to judge more harshly than you would want done to yourself.
Proverbs 15:21 Folly is joy to him who is destitute of discernment, But a man of understanding walks uprightly.Malachi 3:18 Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Ecclesiastes 8:5 He who keeps his command will experience nothing harmful; And a wise mans heart discerns both time and judgment...
Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment...
