When Kevin Jones discovered that his 10-year-old daughter had created several secret social media accounts and was dating a boy, he was understandably upset. His response was to dress her in a pink T-shirt that reads: Im 10 Years Old on the front and 5th Grader on the back. She also donned barrettes, pink shoes, and a Sofia the First cartoon backpack. Jones posted photographs from all angles on his Facebook page as punishment for her rule-breaking, along with an update that reads, Heres the consequence behind her actions. An age-defining shirt. Yes people she is 59 & 10 years old. His full post is below:

I wish people posted more pictures shaming their CHILDREN, instead of those silly dog shaming photos.
Dogs have no shame, LOL!
You didn’t WANT to get my Dad mad and he had NO problem immediately correcting our behavior in public.
Wish todays Dads would kick more butt. Wish more of todays kids HAD Dads at home. :(
Sounds like a good dad to me.
My dad to my brother and I: “Don’t make me come in there.”
In my church when young there was a young girl who was stunningly beautiful. Easily looked and acted 20 years old.
Unfortunately, she was 12.
IMO this girl should not have any internet access.
See? Your Dad may be gone, but you STILL don’t want to annoy him, do ya? LOL!
This could have a very good ending, or not, but it depends on how the child reacts.
I hope the mother is lined up with Pops, if not, look out.
Another thing is that this is forever. From now on, whenever anyone googles her name, this will be the first thing that shows up. See my tagline.
In the city my church is in, a “way younger than she looked” 12 year old went missing a few weeks ago. According to the police, she made a habit of communication with men online.
Fortunately for her, she left enough of an online trail that they found her alive with the predator several states away.
Both of my adult daughters dress and act modestly and never acted out like this. Because of that, they are seen as role models among their peers.
Had a girl in my gradeschool class who developed early. Tall, blonde and very buxom. She looked 25 when the rest of us were maybe 13.
Lost track of her after that. She was a sweet girl and I hope the attention she got didn’t jade her too much, but I always felt sorry for her - she really had to grow up much too soon. I’m sure it would be a lot to deal with for a young teen or preteen.
My dad never hit me .. all he had to do was glare at me and I knew I was in trouble.
I remember a visitor to our home who brought a box of candy .. as she passed it to me .. it would never have occurred to me to take a piece UNTIL I got my dad’s approval. All I had to do was look at him and if he nodded “yes”, then I was free to take a piece of candy.
It may sound harsh; but I wish now I’d had the courage to be as tough on my own children.
Seeing the article’s comments are 10+-1 in favor of the dad, people show they understand that kids need parenting, probably from seeing the results of disconnected free-range parenting like Trayvon and Mike Brown, etc., and it scares them. In a way, the dubious promotion of black thug innocence has an effect, at least on people equipped with a conscience...
What a culture.
I feel bad for the Dad. I really do. But this kind of shaming doesn’t work.
She will be a mom at 15.
You know what I believe? I am thankful to this man for caring about decency in his daughter’s life and making reasonable rules, but I find that men who spend enough time with their daughters have daughters that are not boy crazy. Not scientific, but it’s what I believe.
I would bet he is not living in the same home as her. The story does not tell. This girl is screaming for male attention. At that age, it’s attention she should be getting from her dad. Not inappropriate attention, but participation in her life.
A black father who is involved in his child’s life. Let’s give him credit for being in a tiny minority.
