I'm hoping to tap into the creative, talented and passionate people here at FreeRepublic.
Please submit your ideas for campaign slogans, Bumper Stickers, Yard signs, T-shirts etc
Slogans that you, me or others including the "Cruz for President" campaign may actually use.
Go red with Ted.
Stand with Cruz.
Thanks to all, and please keep the ideas coming.
Understanding the challenge ahead and the nature of both our current culture and media influence over the culture, I am mostly interested in messages that are NOT those that are preaching to the choir, but those that can reach the middle and shock the left.
I think both the artist Sabo, and his bad boy poster of Cruz as well as the Ted Cruz/Johnny Cash image can be very effective at shocking both the middle and the left.
If I had the resources I’d plaster the streets of our inner cities with these and similar images.
The image says “FU Government, Don’t you dare tell me what to think”, “Don’t tell me what to do”.
This, I believe, is what it will take to not only win, but to restore the individual’s rightful place in American politics.
Keep the ideas flowing.
God Bless.
Layin’ it down, righteous-like.

CRUZING FOR A BRUIZING
Ha I was just checking the comments to see if it had been used yet, I was thinking “Washington is Cruzen for a Bruizen”.
Great thinking, Zeneta!
“Effective” is the key.
Hillary, or whomever, is fixing to get their backside handed to them.
Thanks.
I’d like to take the music of this,
Edwin Starr- War

And re-word it to say “Government, what is it good for...Absolutely nothing.....”
You’re onto something, showing the state of our inter cities, in states under Democrat control!

Yes, but it’s more than that.
The message NEEDS to be, IMHO, very very AGGRESSIVE !!!!
Listen to the song link I posted up thread and replace the word “War” with “Government”.

That would definitely be appealing and catchy.
Sorry. I could not understand the words, for the music overwhelming me. But, don’t mind me. You are probably right on with aggressive music.
The campaign needs to mix it up with the music, not lock in on one song for every appearance, because now days the style of the music can put you in a box. Forget the “campaign theme song” and go with your audience, or nationally go with a more universal sound, like patriotic music. Heck, in certain specific places, why can’t he go Christian rock!
The thing that makes me nervous is the Senate box he is in. He can not single handedly accomplish anything, like say a governor, so his oral story for the country and his VOICE is all he will have to deliver a convincing commitment to the people, which I think he can do....with enough MONEY.
I could not understand the words, for the music overwhelming me.
This is something I have a hard time dealing with but I know it is true among a lot of people.
My mind and focus is and has almost always been on the lyrics of a song. The music is just an added emotional component.
I mean no disrespect, but I'm learning that some people don't or can't hear the words for the music.
This is an alien concept for me and something that I need to consider.
Well yes, you can consider it, but it does go to the point I was suggesting of mixing it up with the sound. Cruz is obviously going for the young adults and getting the word out to them. He chose his venue. So, I’m thinking go with your music over the lyrical precision, because that is what brings them home. You and they DO understand it.
Next time when he speaks to retirees, then it can be adapted more to them.
All I want is 15% of the profits.
All I want is 15% of the profits.
That’s a deal.
But my idea is unlikely to generate any money.
It’s really hard core and directed to the masses that distrust government.
The retards that are part of the war on Wall street etc, and as a result it probability would fly here.
Stay tuned.
Wouldn’t
