I do not like the word “caucus”. Who ever came up with it to describe a political activity?

Hey, y’all go back to the 1/24 thread and vote again. You voted a few seconds/minutes too early and it won’t count.

Nice stats.

I’m surprised the total participation isn’t increasing as more posters realize it’s going on.

I know of at least two zots of Cruz supporters today. Expect Trump's margin to continue improving.

Which two?

Yes, and that’s a large part of why I think the fat lady is clearing her throat and humming a few bars.

Further, many of the Trump supporters were Cruz supporters at one time but were turned off. I left over TPA. Others have left since.

A lot of paid disruptors here of late in my view. And I would argue that most are for neither Cruz nor Trump. Probably gop-e or rat operatives (is there a difference?)

The first question to ask in politics: who benefits? Neither Trump nor Cruz really benefit from the disruptors.

Were they actually Cruz supporters?

I’m very skeptical of the idea that the disruptors are of either camp. The disruptors don’t really benefit either campaign. I think it more likely they’re gop-e or rat operatives.

That said, the Righteous Sword of Zot is being wielded. The boss is usually tolerant. Almost to a fault. It’s time for some housecleaning for those who cannot stick to the site rules and act like asses.

Same here. I donated to Ted's presidential campaign four times before he voted for TPA. When he did that, he shocked the breath right out of me. My support for him came to a full stop with that vote.

Following that, Ted chose to vote for the Corker bill, which was yet another knock-you-off-your-chair moment.

Since then, it's been one deal-breaking revelation after another. It really pains me, because I'd invested so much trust and hope in Ted. Now, I'm not even sure I can support him for re-election to the Senate. He's built a case against himself that I can't ignore.

I think if Doughty had started this effort some months back, it would have exploded with participants. Now that we're so close to the first real votes, reality is sinking in on all sides.

The real world polls are already telling the story.

It's a standard English word. Look it up. The definition is a fair description of what they do every four years in Iowa.

You know of two zots of 'splodey head disruptors. They just happened to also be Cruz supporters.

Here's how the votes for Cruz and Trump look for each of the days just as a tally of votes:

Originally I was for Cruz also. What turned me off was the constant e-mail barrage asking for money. That stopped once I followed the advice here on Free Republic on how to stop the e-mail solicitations.

As for why I switched to Trump? Well there are a lot of reasons, some of which are emotional not cerebral. Mainly though it was the fear I could see in so many of his opponents and potential opponents campaigns.

Plus I thought it was interesting that as long as he was a ‘donor’ to political campaigns he was a fine upstanding citizen. As soon as he decided to run for the top spot, (Presidency), he became a incarnation of all that is wrong in America. Well at least according to the Politicians, Pundits, Media and especially the Political Consultants who he didn’t need to run a campaign.

So I am at peace with my choice for now. How it all turns out in the end... well we will all see that, won’t we.

I have seen Cruz supporters basically say that they are leaving for awhile until things calm down on fr.

I have sworn off commenting on Trump v Cruz threads mainly because of the barrage of anti-Trump misinformation out there in the media is being doubly and triply posted here in FR and it is just too wearying to try to keep up.

I would like to note that as the number of anti-Trump postings increase to an incredibly high number, the votes for Trump here in this caucus also increase.

Lets call it the National Review Effect. The more the self-proclaimed intellectuals heap garbage on Trump, the more people vote for Trump.

Take that, self-proclaimed intellectuals.

Thank you for providing this thread WindFlier.

It’s a good idea.

Sorry I having posted as much as I should have the last couple of days.

I’m still working on projects to make the vote system better.

I appreciate you adding this aspect to the process.
