I had one about a year ago. Dried out and pathetic compared to the ‘70s version. Ray Kroc, wherever he wound up, likely does not like what became of his kingdom.
Millennials always say that they are eating less meat, which is certainly a very good thing, but their do their habits really fall in line with their purported values??/
I bet none of them can say
Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun.
I haven’t had once since our millennials were born.
Five Guys has a much better burger anyway.
I have thought for a long time that McD’s
should make a Mac using two quarter pound
patties and call it the Super Mac.
The last time I had a Big Mac I spend the rest of the day burping up that secret sauce
As a 70s kid, the Big Mac was the big deal to me and most others.
Every now and then, I will have a Big Mac attack. I really miss the good McDonald’s fries
I like smashburger better. 5 guys is closer.
I am in culinary school at the moment and the most inspiring lecture so far (aside from the lousy home ec cooking assignments!) was about the evolution of the fast food industry that went hand in hand with post-WWII American automobile culture. We started with Stouffers to Howard Johnson (who gave Jacques Pepin his start) through all of today’s fast food joints, including McDonalds. What an achievement!
change the name to “New, artisan Big Mac” and there will be a stampede of millennials to McD’s doors!
And put a bird on it, for pete’s sake.
Smashburger is good.
I used to love em, but your right, now the meat is pathetic and every time I have one it just gives me indigestion. Whoppers were better for a while, but they’ve gotten just as bad and I was disappointed with Wendy’s recently as well.
The high end burger places are still good, but for that money I’ll just go ahead and stay home and make my own. Seeing the same thing with a lot of stuff not just fast food.
Movies - better to stay home/less expensive
Sports - always better to stay home/if it’s even worth watching anymore
Banks - no need, hit an atm or do it online
Shopping - amazon/ebay gets me a better price
I think we’ll (we being society in general) end up becoming even more self focused then we already are and our social skills will atrophy. You can already see it in the way people interact on social media - the distance removes the normal boundaries.
What's even more disturbing, is that 80% have never even tried a Big Mac....

I like both. What I haven’t done but will try is to get a Big Mac but with Quarter Pounder patties as a special order.
Thinking that would be pretty good.
Just replace the lettuce with kale and all will be well
