Ok..here's a question... What is Santa going to bring me for Christmas? Please don't say another grandchild.. With six you get Eggroll, and I'm already working on a double order. How about....."A NEW CAR." ;)

Maybe a grandchild in the spring?

Nuke art?
*Squeegees out ears*
Me, all I wanted was a flame-thrower. And I promised not to use it in the house. But I never got one.

All those camp-fires and no toys to start them with....

Hopefully the DSL will go good here.

There were two or three of these trees. You can't see it in the pic, but the light part of the tree had some red in the leaves. Someone was very clever.

You funklemeister you. Shameless, as Garth Brooks might say. But does it really count in the middle of the night?

What sort of fish are you going for with your handsome slugs?

I don't know.. Anything that would bite these homely suckers might not be worth eating.. They are as big as a good sized Shrimp.

We have Snook, Tarpon, Sheepshead, all good eating.. We have Jack and Mullet..not good eating. That's all I can think of at the moment..

I have been told to let some water run from the hose into the canal. It attracts Manatees. They also like lettuce, but don't know if it's a fine to feed them.. Better wait on that one... ;(

Thanks for the information - is there any concern about the run-off from homeowner's yards putting crap into the canals and thus into the fishies? Or are the canals tested for toxins?

The Colorado River runs through the heart of Austin and it collects so much urban pollution that we're warned DO NOT EAT ANY FISH YOU CATCH - I don't know if that message gets through to the poor people who are constantly fishing at the dam, or not.

Day is breaking here and it looks to be another glorious CenTex Saturday. Great good fishing to you guys - have a ball with it. ;-)

I think the fish are fine Loddy.. We have tides..so the water is always changing.. The fish come in and out..
