I'm still alive, but my eyes are getting heavy.. Maybe you should wait to see if I survive the night? lol
Will send it to you in the morning. (if I'm still this side of the ethernet.)
Easy as one, two, three.. All you need is a whisk.. ;)

Here's the obit I scribbled out for the local fishwrap:
The Lord needed a good wingman, so he called Eldon S. Riley, Colonel USAF, Retired, to His heavenly, and final duty station 28 November 2002.
Born 4 January 1922 in Hamilton, Ohio to Stanley and Estella Riley, Eldon graduated Shandon High School and entered Miami of Ohio University with the dream of becoming a veternarian. Pearl Harbor changed that dream to one of defending his country by enlisting in the US Army Air Corps to become a fighter pilot where he was stationed around the world during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After twenty-nine years of service to America, he retired to Austin, TX and found another career of service with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission, DDS, where he worked for fifteen years.
Colonel Riley is survived by his wife of fifty-six wonderful years, Lucille (Corson) Riley, their four children; Cynthia (Riley) and Bill Howell, Pamela (Riley) and Jim Lodwick, Janet and David Riley, Douglas Riley and Robert Straka, three grandchildren; Mrs. Alex (Erin Howell) Montoya, Matthew Howell, and Grant Riley, two great granchildren; Kai and Felix Montoya, his sister Eleanora and neice Sharon Burdge.
Special thanks of appreciation go to the kind and caring staff of Buckner Villas, where Colonel Riley battled Parkinson's disease for the past two years.
RIP dear Colonel, you have slipped the surly bonds of earth and can soar with the angels now.

Well.. I'm kinda an odd bird myself. I'm known for wearing turtle necks in the middle of summer. And never wearing shorts.
My snivel gear consists of Duofold type thermals.
As well as my old field jacket. (Rather warm, especially if it has it's liner and a weat jacket underneath.. I know, cheating.. but hey!)
I'd probably be arrested for taunting the manatees.
"Here, have some broccoli!" just think, if it does wonders for humans.. just what would it do for the pudgy watercows?

Combat vet. That's why the three empties were tucked into his flag.
You won't see anything like that for me because I'm not a combat vet. (And I agree with it too. Why should I get such honors as if I was a combat vet when I never saw combat? Burns me up when people like me who never saw combat get referred to as 'veterans'. That's like referring to a racecar with no engine as a 'LeMans winner'.)

oops. That's supposed to be sweat jacket...

I don't know about that - if you were in for a penny, you were in for a pound. Salute! for your service for me and for our country. Thank you friend. You did what you were asked to do.
