After listening to Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song one too many times, I have been compelled to start a thread to honor the Viking Kitties that fight along side the AdminModerator against Trollish hordes.

May the power of ZOT! always be upon the Viking Kitties until they reach Valhalla!

I want to tell you how I am being effected at home since I have joined the VK.

I was reading my paper, The Virginian Pilot - a semi liberal paper, and I was reading the editorial and letters to the editor. I came across a letter to the ED that jumped at me, it was a rant about how eating meat was an addiction and should be banned like smoking. I went nuts in my mind wanting desparately to "ZOT" this peice!! I think I will write to the ED and simply write ZOT.

Dear Admin Moderator,

We, the Viking Kitties, have noticed the expedient removal of threads posted by Trolls.

Tho it is the job of Admin Moderator to remove these threads, yet we would like to have a bit of fun. As you are aware, the Viking Kitties take pride in sniffing out trolls that lurk into FreeRepublic and notifying you of such.

I humbly ask the Admin Moderators to let us enjoy playing with our food before we eat it.

Playing/toying with food before the kill is an old feline genetic tradition from kittens to the big cats.

This tradition/genetic inheritance enables the cats/kittens to have fun and to practice on the various forms of eliminating the critter while having fun.

The Viking Kitties just want to have fun!

I sacrifice 2 rats, 3 sparrows and a gecko to appease the Mod god...I suppose that isn't enough...

Hmm... those rats...did you include the tail? You GOTTA include the tails on those things, or else the sacrifice isn't considered complete...

Man...I knew there was something missing....Ok, tails next time!!!

I know it's hard- I mean, those tails are the tastiest parts, after all! Plus they're fun to play with! But, alas, for those very same reasons, the AdminMods value them that much more...

Very good! The only other thing I can suggest is that you sacrifice a can of beer or two on the altar as well... it couldn't hurt, as everyone needs their beer!

I do have incense sticks burning out of beer cans...(empty)...From now on, upon the sacrifice, I will pour 1 can of imported brew and 1 can of domestic brew to the thirsty gods...
