My viewers are well aware that I have pointed out several times that hate-America leftists have been trying to hijack the 9/11 memorials planned and/or under construction across the USA. So far, the record seems to be that they have been unsuccessful in New York City, due to the intervention of Governor Pataki, but they have been successful in undermining the meaning of memorials planned for the location of the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania and of one just unveiled that is located in Arizona in memory of 9/11.

Russell,
Don't take what I'm about to write the wrong way. Give some very serious thought to this.
I'm uncomfortable with the mindset of our present day society that is erecting memorials for the victims of 9-11. In fact, I'm very uncomfortable with it. They lost sight of the most important memorial. The only memorial we should be striving for is complete victory over our enemies that caused the great lack of life and lingering grief.
It took over 20 years for a memorial to be erected and opened at Pearl Harbor. Over 50 years to erect a national memorial dedicated to the millions of service men and women that achieved our victories in Europe and the Pacific.
The foundation of every war memorial erected should be victory over our enemies first. Only such victory can be a lasting memorial.
I do wish the federal government had the wisdom to offer war bonds to the public in support of the war. It would be money much better spent in achieving victory in memorial of the victims of 9-11 and their families.
I agree with your point (in fact I detest the yellow ribbon nonsense), but if we are going to have a memorial, it should honor our country. Please return to my blog and read my Friday post.
It is interesting--the memorials in Lexington, MA and Concord, MA for the Revolutionary War. These were only erected 100 years later. And these Massachusetts memorials are the very earliest in the Republic--100 years after Independence.
