....Hey Obama! Why Not Just Use Whatever Name is on Your Long Form Vault Sealed Birth Certificate!....
(Excerpt) Read more at steadyhabits.blogspot.com ...
Yah know? You probably don’t need to quite so heavily excerpt your own articles...
Heavily?
Is that the whole article?
But we can't get any school records, much less Obamah's real birth certificate.
And I'm betting in one of those records it indicates Obamah getting financial aide as a resident alien from Kenya or Indonesia.
Wow....good point. I'd forgotten about that.
How else is he to drive traffic to his site?
Gosh. Wouldn’t that be a violation of FR’s terms of service?
Not the whole article. Is your point that I’m too heavily into self promotion or that I should actually post more of my pieces? Sorry if I don’t quite get your drift.
A bit of both.
A bit more context helps one to decide if it’s worth clicking on a link for the full original story.
Mostly FReepers like to post the entire article unless there are copyright considerations. Since you own the content, reposting here shouldn’t be a problem from the copyright standpoint.
Since you’re fairly new (Welcome to FR, BTW) I’m willing to cut you some slack while you get up to speed on FR’s culture. I hope you enjoy your stay and become a regular contributor.
Generally, driving hits to one's own blogsite is considered a bit lame and self-promoting. FR promotes conservatism, but the forums are not intended as an advertising medium for conservative blogs.
Suggestion:
You could have just as well (or better) posted the Politico article, which is longer and more informative, and put your brief additional notes in your opening comment. If you want to avoid getting dinged for self-promotion, that's the way to go.
There are numerous reference threads on FR with regard to posting rules, forum culture, and related whatnot... search and enjoy!
Again, welcome, and enjoy your stay!
Every recent President since FDR has done so... so unlike the middle name question, it's more appropriate to say he'll follow the tradition with the appended reference to God.
Do we really want a president named Barney Toot?
Thank you; point noted.
You do if your intention is to drive visits to his site. It’s a cheap trick that I refuse to fall for.
Me too, but I think he’ll learn.
When someone is hiding something, they have something to hide.

I think what he meant by all three names..
1. Barack Hussein Obama
2. Barry Sorento
3. Zero
Even though there are several others like “President Select”... I think these three will do.
Fine. Then can we assume, Mr. Obama, that you will be placing your hand upon the BIBLE, as is the custom?
