Will the 3rd time be the Charm in Challenging Obama's Eligibility?

Will the 3rd time be the Charm in Challenging Obama's Eligibility?

Like the Energizer Bunny, the cases challenging Obama's eligibility are still going strong. There have been a ton of lawsuits challenging Obama's right to take office with fellow Democrat Philip Berg taking the lead.

To date Berg has filed several injuctions, all of which have been denied except his original compliant that is scheduled to be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court on January 9th, 2009.

From WND --

"I know that Mr. Obama is not a constitutionally qualified natural born citizen and is ineligible to assume the office of president of the United States," Berg said in a statement on his ObamaCrimes.com website.

"Obama knows he is not 'natural born' as he knows where he was born and he knows he was adopted in Indonesia; Obama is an attorney, Harvard Law grad who taught Constitutional law; Obama knows his candidacy is the largest 'hoax' attempted on the citizens of the United States in over 200 years; Obama places our Constitution in a 'crisis' situation; and Obama is in a situation where he can be blackmailed by leaders around the world who know Obama is not qualified," Berg's statement continued.

On one hand, it is almost hard to believe Obama's origin of birth could still be an issue at this point his political career. On the other hand, with cult-like support rivaling David Koresh & Charlie Manson that the "Anointed One" has generated, I do not put anything past them in advancing their socialist agenda.

If the birth certificate is legal and can be verified - he should produce it and put an end to this circus-like spectacle of challenges...

A partial listing and status update for several of the cases surrounding Obama's eligibility to serve as president is below:

Philip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania Democrat, demanded that the courts verify Obama's original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg's latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was denied. But the conference on the case is set Jan. 9.

Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed a lawsuit claiming Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court but denied a full hearing.

Cort Wrotnowski filed suit against Connecticut's secretary of state, making a similar argument to Donofrio. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court, but was denied a full hearing.

Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public's support.

Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama's vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.

Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama's eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama's citizenship. His case was denied.

In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.

In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama's citizenship. The case was denied.

In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama's birth certificate. His request for an injunction against Georgia's secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.

California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters.

Private investigator Douglas Hagmann of Homeland Security US reported earlier he found 13 cases challenging Obama's eligibility still active or semi-active.

One last tidbit for you to chew on.... what if the birth certificate in question is a fraud?

What if, through these filings, the Supreme Court KNOWS Obama is not eligible to be POTUS but is thinking of the socialist $#!+-storm they will cause should they rule his election null and void?

All it would take is for one patriot, who works in the Hawaii’s Secretary of State office and has access to birth records
***Unfortunately, I think such people with that kind of access tend to be greedy. They use the info for bribery to make money. Another notch on the slide into obscurity for the republic.

I know this may hurt your ‘fragile ego’ but it wasn’t worth a double post.

“I would like to propose that nothing from the WND ever be posted here as news”

Poor advice scattershot at freepers. Would you prefer we site Huffington? Information comes from many sources. It’s up to the poster to qualify the source or make clear the source is (not yet) qualified.

I personally find lots of leads on WND. But you can’t be lazy about disecting the information and source.

There are at least eight cases in which judges have ruled that candidates are disqualified from running. Two of those involved disqualified PRESIDENTIAL candidates.

Such cases are the finding of simple facts and the application of clear law. This is the normal business of courts. If the Supreme Court runs away from this question, the reason is not preemption of the task by Congress, but cowardice by the Court. IMHO.

Teflon Governor. RINO. Seems to have no enemies, and the press loves him. The cowardly Republicans in the legislature don't raise their voice either to him, or about him when he's not present. Where has all this money gone? and he has the gall to even suggest raising taxes.

Who voted for him? Swooning silly women of age group 35-maybe 55, and young men l8-35 wannabes or just admirers of his macho, magnetic presence.

He has a magnetic personality. I like him myself, except for his liberal tendencies. Sometimes I think he would be a lot more conservative, but his Kennedy wife gets control of him.

Even if he were Reagan II he wouldn’t be worth changing the natural born citizen requirement to get him into the WH. There is always another election coming down the road.

Last week I hit the post button and something stuck and it posted about 100 times.

He is right. We are outraged, furious, frustrated--and our backs are to the wall. Sooner or later we have to start fighting back and not just with keyboards & blogs. In fact, sooner rather than later. Somewhere in this vast network of blogs, FR Forum, small conservative newspapers , townhalls & granges thruout the country, vets' groups, we need leaders, We need to organise and create a strong & solid presence.

The party of the elephant won't help us, doesn't want us. And they can't be trusted.

American Dream, you voiced the frustration of us all, now what's your idea on getting this rolling?

“Wake me up when you’ll be ready to ACT!”

I share your frustration.
However, “we” are acting on many different fronts.
Ya can’t diss any efforts made on behalf of the cause. We even have different ideas of what the “cause” is so it’s disingenuous to discount anything.

All I’ve been able to contribute is to raise awareness in my relatively small circle of influence, write personal letters to my reps and state electors, do the WND things to both electors and judges, and lambast my gutless senators for their ill-informed insulary pompous positions.

Hope you’ve done at least as much.

At some time, more pointed efforts may be appropriate but until then, we kinda have to let the constitutional and legal sequences evolve.

All that said, if you have further suggestions for action, please share.

***Sure you will, you just don’t know it. That signals the end of our Constitutional Republic. I will surely miss that.

You're right, but I suspect BO & his gang & syncophants will do all they can to get an amendment passed (38 states to ratify)and IF it did pass, there would be no stopping Arnold.

Do you know that he said (years ago) that when he was about 20 or so, his dream was to emigrate to America, become famous as a body-builder, get in movies, and marry a girl in the Kennedy family...and then, to be fortunate enough to be elected President...?

It will be past on January 20.

If you think our constitutional republic died before then, why didn’t you begin doing what the Declaration of Independence says “in the course of human events becomes necessary”?

No I didn’t know that. I knew he had an immense ego though. I recall watching a film of his early body building career wherein he was pulling some pretty dirty tricks on his competitors. Not during competition though. It wasn’t cheating or anything like that just practical jokes.

I’m not sure what the Freeper CoLB trolls are but a troll I am not.

I think SCOTUS had enough of “deciding elections” from 2000 and I don’t think they have the stomach for the consequences of even agreeing to hear the case of Barry’s eligibility to be President.

And as far as SCOTUS dealing with the Constitution, Roe was, in my opinion, wrongly decided since the Constitution was clear that this was a State issue. SCOTUS picks and chooses what it wants to see in the Constitution. Or even use foreign law as precedent So I am not confident in them doing the right thing here.

I hope they prove me wrong but I’m not holding my breath. Maybe the Lions win the Super Bowl next year too, but I am not confident in that either.

I apologize for the double post...did not recall I did.

My ego ? where do you see an ego here? I come from Europe. I know communism. I am so proud to be an American, and suddenly I see what’s going on now and I cannot believe my eyes that so many American people are apparently so shameful of their country that they voted for the worst evil...I am very sad and surprised. I always thought that if one country in the world would remain sane among the world craziness, it would be America. And now this election was like American idol...meaningless and frankly I cannot understand. The MSM is like the pravda..well, the pravda lately seems to say more that the MSM does. And the greatest country in the world does not have even judges to fight for Her or for The Constitution anymore.

That is what I think. Don’t see any ego here. Just a huge sadness and rage - all these Americans who hates their country should LEAVE and be sent to Siberia for a while. Without their stupid granit countertop and stainless steel appliances.

Voila. No ego here.

Thank you. I don’t post very often but I feel so frustrated. I appreciate your reaction.

One thing seems obvious: none of our republican, or big talk show guys are still true conservative, besides Governor Sarah Palin and may be, I say may be Jindhal. But the major problem we are having is NONE of them have enough gusts to fight. NOBODY is helping us to defend the Constitution of the United States. NONE of these guys is even fighting to stop socialism - the nationalization of the banks, auto companies etc...that’s exactly like that socialism and communism starts. Nationalize, make the people dependant. And then, you “rule” - No ONE republican is even fighting against that.

I also sent a lot of letters - I forward 100 of emails to friends who I know forward them also so I am trying very hard to spread the word as much as I can. But when I look at the other side - ugly things - big noise plus the MSM with them and any law is changed in one day just to please them. It seems that now they are talking about reconsidering prop 8 in court, even though the people have voted.

We should be able to find a “street” way to force even the MSM to talk about the Constitution and our very serious questions. Street noise can be interpreted anyway you want.

Someone said: freedom is when the government is afraid of the people.

Marxism is when the people are afraid of the government.

Right now, they ain’t afraid of us, that’s for sure. That’s our problem.

I am stunned that with thousand of people who work in The one’s University, College and schools, law office, even residences, in US, in Africa, in Indonesia that here is no one who can give us more info, NO cop or FBI on the hunt. Can’t we pay detectives? Or more attorneys on our side to follow up on EVERYTHING? Like filing for forgery: birth certificate and Selective Service Registration? Or what about Logan Act? Is there some type of lawsuit about that that I did not hear about? Is there anyone outthere who can file a lawsuit about Obama campaigning for Odinga? Here is plenty of proof and photos and videos...

That’s what I think we should do - follow up on every single point where we KNOW he did something fraudulent. Here is plenty of those...

And certainly noise in the street with signs everywhere in the country.

I mean: since we keep on loosing on one big lawsuit, may be we should pile up the small one? I know the guy has million dollar lawyers but don’t tell me we cannot find great lawyers and detective on our side ready to fight to save the country?

Is there someone in Hawai right now to know what the one is doing???Another BC forgery? I would like to know if someone is there to check his every move.

I have millions of ideas which are probably all very stupid, but “this one” has so much baggage, I cannot believe we cannot attack him on EVERY front.

We just need to win ONCE. Forgery of official BC or Selective Service Registration is a pretty bad fraud don’t you think?

The one is selling our country out. He is going to get rid of our Constitution. We have to do something to protect America before it is too late! Please...

***I’ve seen that. I’ve also seen they have tremendous courage... when it was a liberal cause. When it’s a conservative issue, suddenly the pragmatic side of the court asserts itself. But this may be its last legitimate chance to truly uphold the constitution.
