Ok.I know we are expected to have a solar storm in 2012.I just wanted to know if there was anything we can do to stop it or something we can use for pretection.I mean when I heard this I was totally shocked!!I just heard about all of this today at school!I'm not even old enough to have a car payment.I really want to live longer than 13 years.Because at the moment,I am 10 years old.I just hope that a scientist or baby jesus can do something about this!!

You are aware we have solar storms quite often, the most it does is interrupt some phone and tv service for a few minutes here and there.

By the time you are 10 you should know enough to capitalize proper names. Like Jesus.
No one can predict solar storms in 2012 but some cultures (like Mayan calendar) believe world will end or at least be considerably destroyed on Dec 21 2012 when the North and South poles reverse polarity.
Unless the comet newly detected coming our way hits us on Feb 24th.
Do your chores anyway.
