A Baltimore television reporter been fired for creating the infamous John Gibson “bright blue scrotum” video.
In the doctored video, comments Gibson made on Fox News about an escaped monkey were cut together with completely unrelated comments he made about U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
WBAL-TV, an NBC affiliate, admitted that one of its former employee had posted the video on YouTube without its knowledge. Other media outlets revealed that the WBAL reporter responsible for the doctored video had been fired.
This seems unfair to us. What color is the attorney general’s scrotum? Do we know for sure it’s not...

Fired, but he’s probably got a job in the new Administration now. LOL
I wonder if the aforementioned scrotum was attached to John Ashcroft or Albeto Gonzalez, would the reporter have been fired?
John Gibson threatened to sue... this is a financial move, not ideological
FWIW, at the bottom of this page of the blog that cracked the case is an interview with this guy. He sounds quite measured and there is no rancor or ill intent.

In fact, it was audio from the co-host wrapping up the monkey story a few seconds earlier that was dubbed into the end of Gibson's preamble about Holder.
No problem....He’ll have a job at CNNMSNBCABCCBSNBC within the week....
They like his style....
