Herbert Philbrick, a former FBI agent who infiltrated the communist party describes the horrors of communism here and abroad and about infiltration into unions, government and churches and elsewhere. Looking back and looking to the here and now, we see that men like Philbrick, Hoover and McCarthy were not just using scare tactics. They were right all along. And as Philbrick points out, as our Democracy fails, we will look back as to how we went from being the freest country in the world to becoming a third rated socialist dictatorship.

Doesn’t matter. Too many people I have talked to aren’t opposed to communism because they are spoiled by rights.
When I explain that with being taken care of takes away rights as in China, Russia, Cuba, they all express that it’s only that THOSE countries were stupid. America wouldn’t be so dumb and would make it work.

just watched it...good stuff because it’s true...sadly a lot of Americans are trained to respond to style, not substance, so they would laugh at the movie’s dated quality. Incidentally, the voice-over at the beginning sounds a lot like Paul Frees (voice-over in 1953 War of the Worlds and a gazillion other things).

Mr. Philbrick said he read the Bible every night to avoid succumbing to communist propaganda.
“I was sitting in cell meetings night after night, listening to stuff that was absolutely false but pretty powerful,” he said. “But the contrast was the message of the Bible, which is absolutely at the opposite end. So I was able to see the difference between right and wrong and good and evil.”

YES! You are absolutely right! These morons don't realize that rights aren't supposed to take care of people. The purpose of rights is to prevent government from butting in and oppressing you. Whenever you are taken care of by someone, that person has power over you. When the government takes care of us the way Democrats want, they end up abusing that power and begin to exploit and control them for their own advantage.
The greater the freedom, the greater the prosperity.
The greater the government, the greater the poverty.

Well, and when you are dependant on government for basic necessaties of life, you are reluctant to let that government go as they will like a typical abuser use that fear of failure or being neglected as a lure to keep them in power.
Just like many were reluctant to let Saddam go because it was a twisted version of Stockholm Syndrome and they were afraid of the big meany not providing for them. They were willing to accept the abuse to avoid the risk of failure of providing for themselves.
