Obama’s Safe School Czar Apologizes for Hiding Case of Pedophilia
NWO News ^ | 5 Oct 2009 | NWO News

Everybody may have a different Idea of what “safe schools” may mean, but I would imagine many people who would include pedophilia in a list of things that make schools safe, with the exception of President Obama’s safe schools Czar, Kevin Jennings.

A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an “older man.” At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama’s “safe school czar.” It’s getting hard to keep track of all of this president’s problematic appointments. Clearly, the process for vetting White House employees has broken down.

In this one case in which Mr. Jennings had a real chance to protect a young boy from a sexual predator, he not only failed to do what the law required but actually encouraged the relationship. Source

After twenty-one years, today Jennings gave a tepid apology for the incident. Not necessarily because he was sorry, but more likely because it became “big news”.

When the hell is this Jennings guy going to step down? On what planet does the government employ an open pervert like this to counsel our children? This story has me so angry. If this had happened to one of my two teenaged sons, I can't imagine what I might have done.

When you appoint activists, you are going to get risk taking people who are outside of mainstream thinking (to be gracious).

He’s hiring vermin ( to be more direct).

Don’t know about you but I was brought up that if I was aware of a crime and did not report it that I was as guilty as the person committing the crime.

So, apologizing NOW for hiding case of pedophilia just does not cut it. It is all about this guy getting caught and NOTHING MORE. He is not sorry!

Yes, it’s as though we did not know in 1988 that it was bad for a child to be sodomized by an adult.

This chap should be fired.

He can apologize all he wants then.

In my state a mandated reporter commits a crime by not reporting something like this.

Actually it's working exactly as planned. This is nothing that would have stopped this guys appointment. Hell it probably worked in his favor.

There are some things for which an apology is not acceptable to society, pedophilia is one.

In my view, hiring cooks and other such trash to work for the guy in the highest office in the land, is another. Obama has hired more scum for any of it to be simple neglect or accidental. The bastard just doesn’t care.

The pedophile should IMMEDIATELY step down, or be fired... the same for anyone responsible for his appointment, up to and including that damnable ‘ghetto community organizer’.

This, just as in all things, Obama is a FAILURE.

IMPEACH OBAMA NOW

I’ll accept Mr. Jennings apology...as a full confession of guilt!

Well, thank goodness he apologized for it. That makes it all better. Now the country can move along a deal with the fact that half the country, and the IOC, apparently, are racist to the core /sarc off

“After twenty-one years, today Jennings gave a tepid apology for the incident.”

Perhaps Obama should appoint John Hinckley, Jr. as his Secret Service Czar.

After all, I am sure that Hinckley is sorry for trying to assassinate President Regan, and this single mistake occurred nearly 29 years ago.

I find it beyond belief that this scum Jennings hasn’t resigned yet. It should be the lead story on all the newscasts: “Taxpayers Funding Sexual Pervert to Advise Children”. The US Government has never sunk this low - unbelievable!

It’s amazing what you can hide in a name, Safe Schools Czar. Apparently, the job description must include the requirement of making the schools safe for pedophiles. Funny, I would have thought that protecting children FROM pedophiles would have been part of the job description.

It’s tempting to hang a “do not resuscitate” sign in a few places around D.C.

Yes, it is unbelievable.

I was brought up that if I was aware of a crime and did not report it that I was as guilty as the person committing the crime.

I was too, but there are degrees. For instance, I saw someone blow a red light this morning on the way to work. I didn't dial 911.

In this particular case, however, I say to hell with legalities. This creep had a ethical and moral responsibility to do the right thing. He didn't, and the fact that he's shamefacedly apologizing only AFTER he got caught AND the MSM wasn't able to sweep it under the rug, speaks volumes for his character.

Toss him out on his ass, sez I.

Actually, there is no law requiring you to report a red-light runner. There have long been laws making teachers/administrators/counselors “mandated reporters” - meaning he likely broke the law by not reporting the crime.

Looks like Obama's vetting team missed another one...

I guess they were distracted.

Good point, and one that seems to have been lost in the discussion.

However, I still think that Jennings should have reported what he knew because it was the right thing to do, not because of any potential legal repercussions.

The reason why we have the laws is because there is a history of such individuals not having the moral fortitude to do what’s right.
