Skip to comments.NYT Columnist David Brooks calls Sarah Palin a “joke”
Posted on 11/15/2009 4:34:32 PM PST by Publius772000
McCain standard bearer and conservative columnist David Brooks launched his own salvo at actual conservative Sarah Palin on ABCs This Week, joining other bitter RINOs who have attacked the former Alaska governor in recent days.
If I may channel Chandler Bing for a moment: Can he be any more elitist? Perhaps Brooks hasnt seen the Amazon sales lists, the thousands attending her book signings, or, for that matter, the book sales list published by his own worthless rag. Remember, folks, this is the same guy who talked about how great John McCain was as a candidate and the very same David Brooks who continues to claim that the GOP must become far more moderate if it wants to win the big elections.
Uhhh, Earth to Brooksy: Your moderate lost big. The only reason he got the votes he did was because of his running mate. What was her name again? Oh, yeah. Congrats on that one. (Apologies to those who expect a higher standard from me I just finished watching Zoolander, a film that appeals to the higher intellect about as well as David Brooks does.)
Brooks also does a good job of pulling up his skirt and showing himself to be a not-so-secret Obama supporter. Nice work, Dave. You cant take her seriously, yet Obama was a serious candidate in 2008 and effective president in 2009? Wait, whos the joke again?

He has to trash Palin. That’s the only way he gets any attention.
David Brook is a has been leftist who has a very small audience and an opinion that on a few accept. One can always tell someone’s effectiveness not only by their supporters but also by the comments from their detractors.
took a David Brooks!
took a David Brooks
I hope you wiped your Barack.
He must have been talking about Obama. How long as it been, three months already and STILL no word on Afghanistan. But wait, Obama is a genius, the genius is at work, he must take his sweet ass time. I wouldn’t want him to fall and bruise his brain. Like Bill Kristol said today on Fox News “Sarah palin would NEVER have bowed”
Amen to that... I hope the nation survives long enough for us to elect a president that doesn’t grovel at the feet of every other world leader. Seeing that bow, I wanted to give Barack a slap to the head, a la Mr. Miyagi.
Check this out. Read it today on C4P
Check out this little tidbit from the book
Also on the show that evening, she writes, were Alec Baldwin, Josh Brolin, Mark Wahlberg, the singer Adele, and the director Oliver Stone. Stone, she writes, is a supporter of Communist dictator Hugo Chavez who once referred to the president as the devil himself.
Palin says she refused to shake Stones hand.
Compare that to Obama bowing down to every dictator he sees. Note the difference
David Brooks is a person who is constantly awestruck by his perception of his own greatness...
File this story under “People who live in glass houses”.
Considering that Brooks makes a living with his writing skills, you’d think he could come up with derisive or dismissive epithets that aren’t so much associated with the New York Times.
Coming from the New York Times, “joke” is high praise, indeed.
Liberals don’t see the same world as normal people. This particular dope wants SP to be a joke. In fact, he is the joke.
I would love to see Rush have another of his Dave’s Bake Sales, this time featuring Sarah and Michelle and Liz plus people like John Bolton and Ollie North. He could play it up as a chance for conservative Americans to step up and show the Left just what they’re up against.
Have it someplace in middle America in a venue that could handle upwards of a million people.
Just a dream, but why dream small?
This should get him on ABDNC for the next week. Too bad nobody takes that homo serious anymore.
Pray for America’s Freedom
Somebody needs to tell this pansey brooks that the joke is staring down into his toliet.
He look like he hides in the closet.
