McCain standard bearer and conservative columnist David Brooks launched his own salvo at actual conservative Sarah Palin on ABCs This Week, joining other bitter RINOs who have attacked the former Alaska governor in recent days.
If I may channel Chandler Bing for a moment: Can he be any more elitist? Perhaps Brooks hasnt seen the Amazon sales lists, the thousands attending her book signings, or, for that matter, the book sales list published by his own worthless rag. Remember, folks, this is the same guy who talked about how great John McCain was as a candidate and the very same David Brooks who continues to claim that the GOP must become far more moderate if it wants to win the big elections.
Uhhh, Earth to Brooksy: Your moderate lost big. The only reason he got the votes he did was because of his running mate. What was her name again? Oh, yeah. Congrats on that one. (Apologies to those who expect a higher standard from me I just finished watching Zoolander, a film that appeals to the higher intellect about as well as David Brooks does.)
Brooks also does a good job of pulling up his skirt and showing himself to be a not-so-secret Obama supporter. Nice work, Dave. You cant take her seriously, yet Obama was a serious candidate in 2008 and effective president in 2009? Wait, whos the joke again?

I was about to offer up my backyard until you got to the million people part. Hmph. Can’t hold quite that many. :D
What I thought was really interesting was that Gwen Iffel "gets it". She was telling everyone not to underestimate Palin, that she is very popular. Seemed that the dems were more intellectually honest in that regard than the pubs.
Dan asks, “Who’s Dave?”
I LIKE that! Good for her. Spineless meet backbone.
I’d like an honest answer why Brooks so hates Palin.
“Id like an honest answer why Brooks so hates Palin.”
Here’s why:
Because Palin is female and straight.
Remember when David Brooks complained about male Senators keeping their “hand on his thigh” during entire dinners?
He’s queer as a 3-dollar bill, and gays are obligated to hate Palin and Carrie Prejean. They have no choice.
Sometimes gay men, like DAVID BROOKS, say things without realizing they just “outed” themselves.
David Brooks: “Oh, I’ve had dinners where Republican senators had their hands on my thigh under the table the whole time! For like 2 hours! Republicans are soooo gay!”
Thanks for the tip Nancy.
Thanks for setting me straight!
David Brooks is an asshat liberal GOP but I think the gay you are rightfully excoriating is David Brock a former conservative who is a out in the open fag and once worked for Heritage and Am Spectator before getting cozy with Hillary and then starting far left kook site Media Matters.
I often confuse the two as well.
Brooks is no doubt a metero New York sissy who probably can’t tell a butt from a barrel but he is married with three evolved tadpoles.
One thing I strongly believe to be true: Judge a man by his enemies.
Or woman...
There’s a reason he writes for the NY Slimes and it’s not his conservative credentials. He seems to fit in perfectly at the liberal rag. It must be the secret gay bathhouse in the basement that has him hooked.
could be...personally I think he hates Sarah Palin’s Christian Conservatiam.
I can fairly accurately specualate why that is but Brooks would never admit it and neither will social liberals like him on this forum either.
and thank God, there are precious few social liberals here
but they are the first to call anyone bigot that suits them
Chronic wanker.
Cheers!
The real reason is he is jealous of all the male attention from real men directed towards Sarah Palin.
He has to settle for Barney Frank. /sarc>
That'd get anyone resentful.
Cheers!
Brooks in 2006...talking about Obama:
I remember distinctly an image ofwe were sitting on his couches, and I was looking at his pant leg and his perfectly creased pant, Brooks says, and Im thinking, a) hes going to be president and b) hell be a very good president.
David who?
So true.
