I asked Debra Medina point blank if she is a 9/11 Truther. Medina’s answer was a simple and to the point, “No.”
Debra Medina entered the Governor’s race as a David standing before not just Goliath, but two Goliaths: Sitting Governor Rick Perry and longtime U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Medina didn’t have a chance. Yet here she is today still tilting at windmills and facing down Goliaths. Now a new and powerful foe has come along to oppose Medina in the form of nationally known conservative talk show host Glenn Beck.

If she isn’t a Truther then why didn’t she just say “no”? The fact that she rambled through her answer just raises suspicions.
It is who he is and what he does. He handled his interview with Sarah Palin fairly and directly.
In a way it does the person a favor. For sure liberal news persons are going to ask her the hard questions; and see if they can get her off balance. We all know this.
‘Steel sharpens steel’, so. She is sharper for the program.. It is the most effective way to learn, ... the hard way.
Newt’s mother wasn’t running for Governor of the 2nd largest state, but I do think that she would have had the decency to answer “No” to the question of whether the US government was behind 9/11.
Like right after she stepped from the studio and saw an aide borrowing a couple of hands to do the tricky Quadruple Face Palm.
She had two chances on Beck's show and failed both. When the question is something like "Do you think the government was behind the 9/11 attack?" the answer must be unequivocally "No!". Any hemming or hawing before hand is like someone dithering in answering whether the Holocaust occurred.

It was sleazy politics and unworthy of a so-called "conservative" media personality.
But very typical of the disdain the GOP/RNC/RPT has for grass root activists.

I knew it! I knew it! I didn't believe that Skull and Bones rumor.
If she is not, has never had this thought in her head whatever as she claims now, why not say so in answer to Glenn? Why not question why he is inquiring, find out some Texans have sent him email, demand to know who they are, investigate her own self to see if the emails are coming from Perry or Hutchison supporters trying to smear her? Why keep promulgating the notion as Glenn asks more specific questions instead of resolving the issue??
As an former employee of a bank, FBI training included instruction that if you were ever held up, you were to immediately go to the employee lounge, separate yourself from others, do not speak to anyone, no contact whatever until law enforcement has debriefed you so that your recollection of events, your description of the perp is not colored or changed by the opinions/observations of others. In the situation here with Medina, it comes under the first thing out of your mouth, especially when you are caught *unawares* as she claims, is the most accurate. Once time has passed, you think things over, second, third thoughts, others have input, then the answer changes, accuracy can (and ought to be) questioned.
Was Glenn NOT to inquire considering the topic? After he hears her less-than-satisfactory answer, was he supposed to ignore it, ask the next question on the list? He has zero to apologize for, if anyone does, it is Ms. Medina for talking over him time and time again, for using the time he was giving her as a sort of campaign stump, monologue rather than dialogue.

Also some of her so-called "supporters" are embracing the Truther label she is running from.
Beck has made his career on being challenging the status quo;, and especially what he sees as deception, and distortion. It is who he is and what he does.
Beck is a clueless and ill-educated shock-jock who discovered he could make some extra cash pimping himself out as a low-budget Rush Limbaugh wannabe.
Next to Huckabee... he's gotta be the dumbest "conservative" pundit on the FOX lineup.

Over at DU they are saying that Dick Cheney used Karl Rove's
weather control machine to do it, after discovering that
a "right-click" opened up a whole new options menu.

And now, thanks to her otherwise inexplicable babbling, Beck isn't the only one.
Just because Medina shot herself in the foot, don't blame Beck for handing her the gun.

Beck is presenting truth and facts in a rather over the top ridiculous, or satirical way. ( It may cause more people to be interested).
