The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails them.
Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.
I have said it before, but needs to be repeated:
Between the explosive growth of illegal immigrants, and blacks, the USA has become a victim of “The Peter Principle”.
I do not see it ever returning to be the country that I grew up in.
Truer words were never spoken.
The current system of GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS (aka INDOCTRINATION CENTERS) did not just make Obama possible. They made him INEVITABLE. Unless the process is halted, these institutions will continue to produce hundreds of thousands of new socialist simpletons each year and we will look back at the Obama maladministration as the good old days. Dick Bachert, 2009
I fear that I agree with you. We are over the cliff and plunging to the death of this country. We need a national prayer day - such as a sick out or sit-in, whatever you want to call it, where we bring this country to a complete stand still for one day. That is the only wan to send a message and then - Obama must be kicked out of office on his ass, run out of this country back to Kenya, all money going to D.C. has to be stopped. Federal agencies must be dismantled. That is the only way to get our country back. I’m not sure is voting is going to do the trick.
The citizenry have been slow to wake up. And they should never have voted him into office. But conservatives have got to find a way around the MSM for people who are not online. Until we do that, or until we wrest the MSM away from the liberals and foreign interests, we are going to continue to have problems with people electing character deficit candidates.
And we need controls in place to make sure that the constitution is upheld. That Obama could take office without proof of eligibility is a major hole.
This is the result of ignoring God in society and the conditioning of the generations through schools, media, entertainment and the workplace. We are now reaping what we’ve sown. Only God can save us from ourselves at this point.
Truth rings....but will the people listen?
Yep!....when a nation turns it’s back on God...history has shown that nation is invaded by people with pagan beliefs or no beliefs at all. Communism had a try...we fought...but this is a double header...Progressives AND Islamic domination.
I tend to agree. But it does not follow that a smaller country, carved from the heartland of the current United States and severed from the grasping greed and indulgences of the parasite urban areas could not form a republic more in keeping with the Founders’ visions.

“all money going to D.C. has to be stopped. Federal agencies must be dismantled. That is the only way to get our country back. Im not sure is voting is going to do the trick.”
Therein lies the key. The Federal bureaucracy is out of control and has been for years. The only way to control it is for the states to assert their rights under the constitution. The flow of money to D.C. will have to be stopped. Problem is even in the face of massive over reaching by the Feds, the people are still relatively complacent.
I don’t know what will finally make the people angry enough to take action, but it has not happened yet. So far all D.C. hears is a little fussing from the peons, which they are obviously ignoring.
I agree that the voters are as much to blame for this presidency as Obama himself. On the other hand, America has a history of recovering from socialism. For a full recovery, the sting of socialism must be felt by a large number of people, and the economy is what will sting us. That is, if the economy gets bad enough, enough people will say “enough!”. The process will be ugly, probably with plenty of polarization and riots. Some will take sides over ideological issues, others will riot because of their economic situation. The bigger question I have is, “Are we willing to go through the termoil to cleanse ourselves?”
I have been saying this for months!
Even if BO (God forbid) were to drop dead tomorrow, there are still all those “gimme people” out there! That must be fixed.
One step in the right direction is the Campaign Finance decision from the Supreme Court. Whatever Bush did economically was made up for in the war on terror and his Supreme Court appointments.
