As a former ACORN official turned whistleblower, Anita Moncrief knows a thing or two about electioneering. In fact, in the months leading up to the 2008 election, she had been in contact with a writer at the New York Times – Stephanie Strom – about how the Obama campaign was corrupting the voting process.
Taken in the context of Michelle Obama's alleged comments inside a polling station days before the 2010 elections, the first lady has added yet another sad chapter in the questionable practices of Team Obama and the electoral process, including the case involving the New Black Panther Party and the Journolist scandal.
It appears that Michelle Obama has violated Illinois state law by not only urging voters to support her husband's agenda while voting within 100 ft. of a polling station; she did so while actually inside the polling station.
Moncrief became alarmed in 2008 when she learned that the Obama campaign gave ACORN the soon-to-be president's 2007 donor list. The reason this was done was so that the community organizing group could target Obama's maxed-out presidential donors. This was clearly illegal and a huge scandal. Moncrief and Strom were in contact with one another using e-mail pseudonymns until New York Times management pulled the plug on the story.
Commenting on the reports emerging about Michelle Obama's potentially illegal activity, Moncrief said, “The White House is sending a very dangerous message by choosing to brush off the First Lady's clear electioneering when she decided to push her husband's agenda inside a polling place.” Having been an official with ACORN, Moncrief has seen how little respect this administration has shown for the electoral process in the past.
When taken together with everything else that is known about the Obama campaign, Moncrief issues a stark warning not all that dissimlar from what she tried to warn the New York Times about before Obama was elected.
“The integrity of America's electoral system has been under constant attack. Everyday Americans should be appalled at Michelle Obama's actions,” Moncrief said. “It is bad enough that Obama has been targeting blacks and telling them that it up to them to stop the 'angry' Tea Party and further his agenda. This administration clearly has a problem with the truth and upholding the law.”
Since learning the truth herself after seeing not only how the Obama campaign attempted to illegally influence the 2008 elections by using ACORN but by the New York Times spiking the story, Moncrief has become extremely active in uncovering the truth. She is now a trainer with the American Majority and teaches Tea Partiers all across the country how to be Community Organizers for Freedom.
The American Majority was very aware of this dynamic when crafting an action plan. It's a Tea Party with a purpose. As its numbers continue to grow, the organic nature of the movement is being made all the more significant because its members are trained by experts who continue to refine and improve the message and means to pursue the Tea Party agenda, which is nothing other than putting America in touch with its founding principles.

There is some evidence that she lost her license due to some involvement in insurance fraud, but I don’t think that is confirmed. As usual with the Obamas, the records are not open to us.
