Neil Abercrombie, as Hawaii's governor-elect, said he wanted to end the controversy recording Barack Obama's eligibility to be president by releasing the state documents showing him to be conclusively a natural born citizen.

Abercrombie is now governor so what is the latest on the project?

Here is what the Honolulu Star-Advertiser posted yesterday from an interview with the Governor:

I will not be the slightest bit surprised if Abercrombie does make the long form public. Probably in electronic form.

Then the birthers will pile on it and pick it apart with their ridiculous conspiracy theories and Abercrombie will just chuckle to the media about how those conservative just cannot accept the truth.

I'm no birther but Obama is acting in a way that doesn't make sense and conservatives are not looking stupid by remarking as per Drudge et al on inconsistencies in the behavior of Democrats.

If Obama had waived his privacy privileges as Dubya did during the National Guard controversy and some records were not found I would be more than happy to have given him the benefit of doubt.

But he has been fighting to keep things private that a reasonable person would have made public long ago. It sure looks like he's hiding something.

I for one am very willing to accept that Obama is NBC, but a president fighting to keep information private that could settle nagging controversies that get in the way of national unity is pretty strange.

Your insults and vague claims,lacking any detailed information, only illustrate the weakness of your position. You fail to understand one fundamental point. It isn't incumbent upon those who demand BO/BS obey the Constitution to prove he doesn't fulfill the Natural Born Citizenship requirement in Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution. It is incumbent upon BO/BS to prove he is a natural born citizen.

Instead he has spent nearly two million dollars on a team of lawyers to prevent having to produce a long form birth certificate confirming he is a natural born citizen. Why would he go to that extreme if he is a natural born citizen?

IF Abercrombie actually publishes a facsimile of BHO’s long form it will be explained away, new concerns/problems/ anachronisms/conspiracies will be discovered and the show will move on with no resolution acknowledged.

BHO has already demonstrated to the satisfaction of anyone that matters that he is a Natural Born Citizen. You don't agree? Fine. All that means is that you do not agree. But it doesn't change anything.

Long form? The only reason the talk is currently about the “long form” is because that is the latest set of goalposts that will be moved the second any long form is produced.

First it was “BHO has not BC at all”. Then Hawaii made a formal statement that he did.

So the goalposts moved and it was “Well, maybe he has a BC, but it doesn't say he was born in Hawaii.” Then Hawaii made a formal statement that he was too born in Hawaii.

So the goalposts moved and it was “There was no birth announcement”. Then contemporary birth announcements were found.

So the goalposts moved and it was “Let's see the BC!” And a copy was posted on the Internet as an informational courtesy.

So the goalposts moved and it was “The Internet copy is a forgery! Let's see a hard copy!” So a hard copy was provided to a news source.

So the goalposts moved and it was “They are Obama cronies and untrustworthy...”

And this is goes on, ad infinitum.

If you are intellectually honest with yourself you will recognize it happening again if any long form is made public.

What documentation has BO/BS produced confirming he is a natural born citizen? Why spend two million dollars fighting all the lawsuits brought against him when all he needed to do was spend $20 on a long form birth certificate?

Spend 10 minutes doing a word search and you'll easily find information about the lawsuits brought against him because he refuses to produce evidence.

The long form contains key pieces of information that is not found on the Certification of Live Birth including the hospital where the person was born and the signature of the attending physician.

The only thing the state of Hawaii produced was a Certification of Live Birth. It's far from sufficient to prove his eligibility for several reasons. The first I already stated above. Moreover the state of Hawaii was issuing COLB's to any foreign born children who had lived in the state at least one year at the time BO/BS was born. All this excludes the fact the COLB Hawaii posted on line was a forgery! LOL!!!

The only goal posts moved are those involving Article 2 Section 1. Hawaii's claim means nothing without documentation. Documentation Abercrombie claims exists but he can't find! LOL!!!

If you had one ounce if intellect you would do some research to produce evidence BO/BS is a natural born citizen instead of reducing yourself to banal remarks by referring to anyone who expects BO/BS to obey the Constitution as stupid or any comments as cr*p. I decided that it's time for a short refresher on how this whole Obama birth certificate scandal began.

A poster on another thread asked "What is Politifact?"

We also found Obama's registration and disciplinary record with the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

We tried to obtain a copy of Obama's birth certificate, but his campaign would not release it and the state of Hawaii does not make such records public.

I have noticed he has illegally occupied the Oval Office for two years since he hasn't complied with the Constitution by proving he is a natural born citizen.
