A coalition of peculiar media forces apparently led by Donald Trump appear to be working to make President Barack Obama’s birth certificate a major 2012 campaign issue, and all signs point to Sean Hannity hopping on the bandwagon. After dedicating a significant amount of time on his radio show earlier this week to the matter, he brought it up once again on TV in the context of Trump’s potential 2012 bid, calling the entire ordeal ‘odd.’
The discussion began on his “Great American Panel,” where Republican strategist Dee Dee Benkie was urging viewers not to completely dismiss Trump as a viable presidential candidate. This allowed Hannity to bring up the birth certificate, which Trump had been demanding to see, and Hannity noted merely asking the question had helped Trump’s poll numbers: “he’s now in a tie for 5th place, two points behind Sarah Palin.” Panelist Ron Daniels scoffed at the idea that being anywhere near Palin on the polls was a good thing, and dismissed the idea that Trump even wanted to be President. “It’s a publicity stunt,” he concluded.
But Hannity was far more interested in pursuing President Obama’s birthplace struggles, wondering aloud yet again why the President has yet to produce a long-form birth certificate. He took his now-typical line of attack, noting that Dick Cheney had to prove his residency and that President Chester A. Arthur had one attorney after him proclaiming he was born in either Ireland or Canada. That said, Hannity clarified that he personally had no questions as to whether the President was American, but he did not consider himself a worthy arbiter of that.
Legal analyst Peter Johnson agreed that “there is a way to put this to bed”– showing a birth certificate that would be adequate to those who believe the conspiracy– and that the White House has not produced said certificate raised questions. Daniels objected, noting correctly that the White House in fact has published President Obama’s birth certificate several times, but the copy presented was not sufficient. To that, Hannity concluded the discussion articulating what many exposed to the birther debate regularly lament: “let’s get out of this. This is stupid.”

Nothing... but you implied with your first post that those of us who believe that he was born in US. And are not part of the Birther/Soro's/Ayers-Trifecta-born-in-Kenya-or-on-Pluto-groomed-by-the-CIA-from-birth-conspiracy... is simply withholding the BC for political purposes aka damage control due to some other reason, are all conspiracy theorist.
Personally I think the real damaging info lies in his college application and official papers... that's the treasure trove and one he is using the whole birther movement to his advance for.
He's playing the birthers like a cheap fiddle hoping they will continue to look for his BC and not focus on his college days...

He looks bad no matter what. If he pulls out either a bogus explanation or a long-form birth certificate NOW, how can he possibly gain “credibility” after sending Lt. Col. Lakin to prison when all he had to do was show the birth certificate in private to the judge way back in December? Or show it in private to Lt. Col. Lakin when he first asked the question and before he “disobeyed orders?”
Obama looks bad no matter what happens now. He has no credibility.
If he has a birth certificate that proves his eligibility and proves that his life story according to himself is true, then there’s no logical explanation for why he didn’t present it before the election, when the issue first came up.
It certainly doesn’t add to his prestige if, as some of his supporters say, he’s merely playing with “birthers”, or it’s fun for him, or it’s a convenient distraction, or whatever are the current obot talking points. It makes him look small, juvenile, immature. Actually, now that I think about it, it makes him look exactly as he is.

1) LTC Lakin sits in prison and Major Cook lost his security clearance and his job.
2) Obama sent **tax paid** government attorneys around the country to prevent the release of **common** documents and wasted the **tax paid** resources of the Department of Justice to prevent the release of common documents American serfs provide routinely for many reasons. He distracted these highly trained individuals at a time when plots were being laid to blow up Times Square and a Pittsburgh marathon, explode a plane out of the sky over Detroit, and KILL our soldiers on their bases and recruitment centers.
A person who would use this issue to tease his political opponents likely pulls the wings off flies just to see them squirm!

Without a doubt. When Barry started joking about his birth certificate (instead of maintaining complete silence about it as he had for the last three years) that was a clear indication that he had either managed to find or manufacture one.
They are using it as a stalking horse. There is an incredible amount of Barry's background that they have managed to keep bottled up - everything from past girlfriends (or boyfriends), where he lived in college, his transcripts, his passport records, how he managed to pay for his college trip to Pakistan - the list is endless.
Eventually, someone from his past is going to come forward with credible evidence of something politically embarrassing (something that would result in a Republican being run out of office but that would only result in embarrassment for a Democrat).
When that happens, suddenly the long form birth certificate will appear. Simultaneously, the MSM will all start reciting the Democrat talking points about how this is just another bunch of kooks like those thoroughly discredited birther kooks.

Right now there is no one seriously challenging Obama’s legitimacy as POTUS. All are afraid that they may open a can of worms that may cause riots in the street. They all would like to, but they are all afraid. Which makes them poor candidates for any leading position in American politics.

I don’t care. I want him and all future presidents to show they are eligible.
I think we also need to amend the constitution so they have to prove they can pass a security clearance.
Obama and Clinton could not have passed a top secret clearance with their past associations if they had to be hired for an FBI or other job, yet, they can now have access to every secret of our government? What kind of insanity is that?

His supposed “father” was a Kenyan British Subject, not American, therefore it does not matter where Barry was hatched, he’s ineligible due to parentage.
Maybe that fact, right out there, even bragged about in O’s ghost written book, is the thing that Hussein laughs about at night. He must be very proud at the job public school teachers have done, in not teaching anything about The Constitution for so many years.
He is an admitted son of a foreign father. It doesn’t matter where on Earth he was born.
He will no doubt come up with a great fake BC, and 99 percent of America will buy it. One percent will still know he’s ineligible because of his father (and his mother was underage, although a US citizen).
Hannity and the rest of them should add the foreign parent problem to the “where was he born” questions.

Me too in fact I have a copy with the rasied seal and he original with footprints that I could produce within minutes of beng asked.I was born in 1960 about 10.5 months before Obama.
I didn't think he will run again and I have thought that for over a year.
