Sue at the Self Appointed World Court.

A joke. Since they have no World Police Force and no World Authority.

Just a pack of self-appointed Jackasses.

It is Omar’s contention that “my father was denied due process.

I know this is satire, but there are people like mickey moore and others who say the same thing. I heard several callers on KLBJ in Austin make this very claim. You can't get more stupid than this.

I bet Holder’s DoJ will allow the suit to go forward.

However, the son threatening to sue is not satire.

Then I invite him to prove that we killed UBL :)

Kind of hard without a body or anything

Few here haven’t been “gotten” by John. I know I have more than once. Just shows the absurdity of the world these days plus the satirical ability of the writer. Perhaps a wasted youth reading Mark Twain.

Omar said he will be asking the Court “to award damages of $600 billion to $700 billion per year for as long as the United States Government continues to make war on Islam. This way we can level the playing field and prevent mere financial advantage from determining the outcome in this battle of ideologies.”

Are you sure this is satire? If fits perfectly with 0baMao's kinetic military action doctrine in Libya. Make both sides equal so neither can win insuring perpetual conflict.

Since they have no World Police Force...

I wouldn't be too hasty about that.

Oh, for pity's sake, Omar!

Your father received a culturally sensitive burial at sea, and I have no reason to doubt the crew of the USS Carl Vinson contributed full "military honors."

Your Dad chose a lousy line of work. Get over it!

Perhaps a wasted youth reading Mark Twain.

Perhaps not. Wars of tomorrow may get paid-for by spoils from the vanquished. Didn't someone pay for fence-paintin'?

Look, our military is awesome but expensive. Getting bad-guys kilt costs money. Should it come down to this, global liberty may come at a cost to be reimbursed by those not willing to pay for global tyranny (which probably comes cheaper).

As they say, if you want something done right you have to pay for it. Buyer beware.

Though Omar has requested its assistance, there is no word yet in whether the ACLU will join his suit.

Excellent as usual, Mr. Semmens -- and 'no word yet' from the ACLU was a particularly nice touch.

I think Jonathan Swift belongs on that list, as well.

And, as far as satrirists who are currently still alive and writing, it's hard to top Terry Pratchett and Christopher Moore, in my opinon.
