I was stationed on Guam in the mid-1980s. My squadron flew search and rescue while on the island and made regular deployments to sea. Aside from my duties as a naval aviator, I was also a division officer and had enlisted men and women reporting to me. Guam is only 13 degrees north of the equatorbeach weather every day. Most military people used the military beaches; I was one of the folks who liked to travel around the island.
Thats how I discovered one of my men was gay. He was on the beach with his boyfriend, and although there was nothing going on that couldnt be in a G-rated movie, there was no doubt that they meant more to each other than two buddies enjoying a day in the sun. When he looked my way, he froze, and I saw a flicker of fear on his face. These were the days before dont ask, dont tell (DADT), so his legal problems would have been criminal, not administrative.
I did what needed to be done: I walked over, said hello to my sailor and introduced myself to his boyfriend. We chatted about the nice weather and I bid them a good day and left the beach so they could relax. We never discussed it again.
Fast forward to 2008. I was driving home on a Friday afternoon, looking forward to a summer weekend, when my cell phone rang. It was a 202 area-code number (Washington, D.C.) and since Im a member of the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel (CEP), I thought it might be important, so I answered it. It turned out to be an acquaintance, retired Rear Admiral Jamie Barnett. He asked me, When are you going to talk to Admiral [Mike] Mullen about ending dont ask, dont tell?
I responded, Great idea. How am I going to get an appointment with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs? and he gave me an insight: Admiral Mullen had appointed me to be on the CEPhed take my call.
I do not stalk you.
I check latest posts and articles. I would like to not see your screen name, I do not search it out.
When you post crap and then don’t comment that it’s crap, simple logic says that you think it’s not crap.
Anyone can check anyone’s posting history and make up their own minds.
A cafeteria Catholic or a CINO...
One of so many we see in the public these days...
wish the Church would do a purging!
Yet there are already 3 times as many homosexual rapes in the US military as there are heterosexual rapes.
Let’s see what happens when all the homosexuals start getting promoted over everyone else and start forcing themselves on their subordinates.

Supposedly this was posted as a "know thine enemy" article but the original poster, flowerplough, has never posted a condemnation of homosexuals in the military that I've ever read. Longtermmemmory doesn't think this is a true story; because the officer in question would have also been breaking the law. Looks and smells to me like pure propaganda.
The MILITARY... the cancer has attacked it and succeded...
I have been predicting this for ever!!!!!!!!!!... Queers wanted to destroy it for ever... because MEN threaten these sickos... their job will be now to destroy slowly, like a cancer...
But it's only fair to point out that people of "courage" failed to prevent it as well.
Notice, who keeps SILENT amid all these events...
I will answer that
They now will say they can risk their life but cannot get married in my state of FL.
See where this crap is going? Overturning DOMA next which tells us that our votes are useless.
well I can think of one thing and that is maybe states which want to be normal leave the north east to their own ways and the west coast
“We are done as a republic. Its over.”
My family has relatives that fought in every war this nation ever waged. I had relatives at King’s Mountain, New Orleans, and Shiloh Church (CSA).
We expected our young men, if they were fit, to join at least for a while. That’s gone forever. I’ll be steering my son away from the armed forced.
The liberals wanted the military? Well, they got it. They can go bleed in some foreign hellhole for what they believe, or maybe they can pay somebody else to do it for them. I don’t care, but they needn’t ask me or mine.
My daughter’s a twice-deployed iraq vet, and I was in Reagan’s army, the one the commies feared. Didn’t know of any homos in my Signal units, but there were a few dykes, many of ‘em better soldiers than the pretty little teasers that purred around HHC. Daughter sez she knows plenty o’ dykes, too, and a homo or two, and had ho problem with ‘em. She fears for the homos’ safety, though, on an individual basis, anf feels that Obama and his lickspittles in the Perfumed Prince section of the Pentagon have pushed things too fast.
same here.
my family has served for generations like it was a right of passage but my sons now are not joining unless this gets overturned.
Sad part is that my oldest is in ROTC and so far 5o of them have now said they are not going to join unless it gets overturned.
The queers want this then go off and die but don’t expect to come to my state and say you’re married or even ask for a divorce here.
ho problem??
“no problem”
not seen you on here so out of curiosity
do you think homosexuals should marry?
do you think homosexuals should serve openly?
should homosexuals have access to children?
just wondering and thank you in advance
They shouldn’t have pushed things at all.
Then again, there aim is not having fags and dykes in the military. The military was just an important frontier that they had to crack. The end goal is forced acceptance of society and easy access to children. That end goal never changes.
In a few years, the entire officer corps will be militantly pro-gay. They won’t just say they don’t care whether a particular homosexual, they will declare, more loudly than the last, that their best troops are homosexual.
Why? One simple reason, the officer corps is full of careerists that won’t hesitate to put their knife into the back of their fellow officer. They will receive a negative mark on their evals if they are not “sufficiently acceptive” of homosexual troops.
That means the military brass will shortly embroil itself in such issues as states not recognizing marriages of homosexual troops, not allowing homosexuals to adopt or foster children, and in the Boy Scouts units on base or using installations facilities not allowing homosexual troop leaders.
You seem to be willing to degrade the US military and focus it on the wrong things in pursuit of allowing gays to serve, consequences be damned. You can choose to ignore reality. You will not be able to choose the consequences of ignoring reality.
This is going to have to be undone. If the next President doesn’t overturn all the crap that Zero signed, then we’re over. We’re not over yet.
So according to flowerplough’s daughter, the female homos were better soldiers than (I presume) the normal women. And the only problems are that the homos might be unsafe, and that this has been pushed “too fast”. So flowerplough thinks that if the public had been given more time to “soften up” and become homo-indoctrinated, homos in the military would be fine.
Oops, it was flowerplough who thought the females homos were better, my mistake.
Flowerplough has been warned before about promoting the homo-agenda, by JR. Here FP is doing it again, attempting to be sort of stealthy about it. He accused me up the thread of “stalking” him. Because I happened to run into this thread.
Pushing homosexuals in the military is something I will never tolerate on FR. Never. And FP is doing it right on this thread. Nauseating.
Eagles6 posted this on another thread, a great article by By Cliff Kincaid called “Saving Soldiers from Gay Death”. Anyone pushing homos in the military is basically condemning people to death.

The US military tests individual service members every 2 years for hiv.
Recruiters have been told to aggressively recruit homosexuals.
There are presently 19,000 hiv positive service members.
A person can have hiv for up to 90 days and not test positive on some or all tests. There is much conflict on the accuracy and standardazation of tests. So potentially a medic could have hiv for 2 yrs.3 months and easily pass it on to hundreds of personnel if in a combat situation.
In a mass casualty situation where blood is taken from any and everyone and used immediately or buddy transfusions occur the potential for transmitting hiv is astronomical.
