Things that make you go hmmmm.
A northwest suburban man says he needs to clear the air after coming to the support of his fiancee, who accuses GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain of making a sexual play for her.
For starters, Sharon Bialek isnt his fiancee, said Mark Harwood in an exclusive interview on Wednesday night. We were engaged last year in June but I think there have been some assumptions that Sharon still lives here in Mundelein with me Harwood told the I-Team. Sharon and her son moved out in February of this year and now live in their own home so effectively were no longer engaged.
On Monday, when Ms. Bialek was the first of Cains alleged groping victims to go public, Harwood was contacted by news organizations trying to find out information about her. He did numerous interviews during which he was referred to as her fiancé. I made reference to the fact that we were engaged and got engaged last June, 2010 and I think the assumption then-we were still engaged. I think most people seemed to be under the belief that Sharon lived [in my house] but shes not here.
Heres video of the interview:

I dont know if this has any particular significance, but for several days the media wanted the world to think Sharon Bialek was engaged to this guy, because that seemed to undercut suggestions she might be in it for money, e.g., Ben Smith at Politico:
In fact, per the Tribune, shes living with her fiance, described as an executive in the medical equipment industry, in a large, five-bedroom home in north suburban Mundelein.
He was described as her fiancé in the lead of an Associated Press article citing him as corroboration of Bialeks account (although he didnt know her in 1997 and says she never told him about it until Nov. 4). It was Thursday before WLS-TV got this interview, so that little bit of misinformation got corrected by the local ABC station in Chicago, three crucial days after it had been widely reported and woven into the media narrative as evidence of Bialeks credibility.
Like I said: Things that make you go hmmmm.
Sharon Bialek’s fiance who said he is her primary source of financial support is unemployed and preparing to file for bankruptcy, according to Lake County court documents reviewed Tuesday by the Tribune. And in Cook County, lawsuits show she has been targeted by creditors who claimed she owed them thousands in unpaid rent, personal loans and credit card bills.
Though Bialek said her financial troubles were due to extenuating circumstances around 2000, court records show she continued to run afoul of creditors as recently as this summer.
In February 2000, Bialek borrowed $3,000 from Northwest Side resident Mark Beatovic, who handwrote a loan agreement in which she agreed to pay him back with interest over the next year. But in 2005, Beatovic filed suit against Bialek for not paying off the loan. In 2007, a judge ordered her to pay Beatovic $3,900.
A major source of Bialek’s income over the last decade has come from child support payments supplied by West R. Naze.
She sought more money in 2009, alleging Naze’s income had grown to about $30,000 a month. In October 2009, the judge ordered him to increase his child support to $66,700 a year.
So I guess that means she’s back on the prowl for a man and money. Who would have guessed?
>>After reading all of the court motions and rulings associated with this guy, I am VERY surprised we have not heard from him yet. Maybe Lin Wood has him on standby.
I’ve tried calling him, emailing him and talking to him on facebook. Allred is working on him.
Believe what you may but Allred would be the least of my worries if I had Lin Wood diggin’ into my history. Lin is not about out of court settlements, he is more disposed to dragging anyone into court.
It goes hand in hand with "dating" now means being constantly in the sack, but maintaining separate residences: "No, we're not dating; she won't sleep with me. Well, yes, I take her out every weekend, and see her some evenings during the week, so we are seeing each other, but we're not dating...".
Don't even ask what constitutes "flirting" now days...but it involves much more than a smile & wink.
>> “Who is paying for it? I thought she was unemployed.” <<
She’s collecting her Anita Hill Society benefits.
Doesn't matter either way, as it was mass produced and rather inexpensive.
so she doesn't have a 'fiancee' - just a lot of debts and no visible means of support?
Interesting comments, however # 36 sums it up nicely.
Then again she's trying to hurt a Republican - that means the AP won't mock her - and Carville will keep his yap shut.

There is no reason for anyone to contact this man if he is not engaged or in a relationship with him.
This whole thing just got even smellier, if that’s possible.
