Yesterday, four Republicans in the New Hampshire State House allowed a hearing requested by Orly Taitz, the notorious dentist-lawyer-birther who wants President Obama officially removed from the state's primary ballot.
So in honor of conspiracy theorists everywhere, we're re-releasing the campaign's limited-edition "Made in the USA" mugs.
There's clearly nothing we can do to satisfy this crowd—or anyone else who insists on wasting time and energy on nonsense like this.
But when it starts to make your head hurt, I've found the best remedy is to have some tea in my "Made in the USA" mug.
Works like a charm. I recommend Earl Grey.

It's not clear whether all this is a smokescreen or whether these dead-enders actually believe this stuff. But they aren't letting the facts get in their way -- one group in Arizona has even demanded that the President "release the microfiche" of his birth certificate.
Sadly, I don't have any microfiches on hand, but we have the next best thing: In honor of birthers everywhere, we're re-releasing the campaign's limited-edition "Made in the USA" mugs.

Here's what one of the state representatives backing the effort had to say about yesterday's hearing: "I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even I could take [the long-form birth certificate] apart and see that it was fraudulent."
Well, I won't argue with one part of that statement.

Obama for America is "protesting too much," IMO. It appears to me that the Obama campaign is "all wee-wee'd up" and is trying to "innoculate" supporters from hearing the NH eligibility hearing story which broke through the normally complicit media blockade yesterday. The Obama team wants supporters to hear about this story first from them with Alinski-playbook mockery and spin applied (accuse the other side of doing what you are actually doing...lying, IMO):

"No, but -" Taitz began.
"No," Cook said. "Thank you."
He then addressed the several dozen other people in the room, a number of whom were videotaping the hearing: "Does anybody have factual evidence - not opinions, not rumors, not thoughts?"
"It's the Constitution, sir," said Dick Marple, a former state representative. "It states we must respect the law of nations." He went on to say that the British Nationality Act makes Obama a British citizen, since Obama's father was born in Kenya, which was still a British colony when Obama was born.
"What took place after that is not even germane to the issue," Marple said.

Waiting for OB to ask the USSC to rule on the definition of Natural Born Citizen, just to me and others in our place.
What would be sort of cool is if someone could create a BO “birth certificate” coffee mug that shows, under the “official” WH-released “document” (when filled with hot liquid, you’ve seen other novelty coffee mugs like this) the REAL birth certificate underneath.
If it exists, that is.

1. On the same day that Corsi’s book including Danae’s proof that a long form BC from the 1960’s could still be obtained by a regular citizen
2. Just as Trump's denunciation of the short-form BC was gaining national attention (following Chris Matthews and Gov Abercrombie breaching the Obama defense that only racists and GOP dead-enders would question whether there was an original 1961 LFBC on file in HI)
3. Just as many states were on the verge of putting candidate submission of a certified original BC as a requirement to get on the 2012 ballot. AZ’s law passed both houses but was vetoed by the GOP governor...but other states were threatening to break the impasse on April 27.
The Obama team's sensitivity on this last point is what is betrayed by the near instant attempted preemptive smack-down of the Orly Taitz hearing in NH and the Arpaio posse's threat to ballot eligibility.
On the Daily Kos, the few remaining Obama defenders have been outraged by the previous Obama for America fund-raising use of "the BC mug" which they regard (correctly) as actually giving credibility to the attack on the BC.
Obama only claims to have “released” his original 1961 BC, but he has not actually legally done so.
At the same time his legal team continues to fight to the death against _actually_ legally releasing HI DOH to in fact release the LFBC which prevents if from being entered into evidence in any federal court or from being examined by any certified evidence examiner.
This screams “I am hiding something!” which can only be something having a bearing on eligibility, IMO.

Semi-facetious idea: Why doesn’t someone (Orly Taitz comes to mind) purchase one of the “Birth Certificate Mugs” and file a lawsuit, on the basis that the info on the mug that induced her to buy it is fraudulent. This would create standing and a legal opportunity for “discovery”. (Of course the sellers would just go out of business rather than contest it — what a shame).

Orly also added a fourth point as to why the April 27, 2011 time-frame was significant enough to compel Obama to produce even a forged BC. She tells the NH commission that it was just days before her oral argument before the 9th Circuit.
