Now that it's been established that Barack Obama's long-form "birth certificate" originated as a digitally created forgery, we are left to ponder: how was the paper certificate of which NBC News reporter Savannah Guthrie took pictures created?
A reasonable assumption would be that the forgery was created in Hawaii by conspirators, or, possibly without the president's knowledge, by pranksters in the Hawaii Department of Health, or as a Republican dirty trick designed to blow up a week or two before the November elections -- then the printed image was copied onto real security paper and embossed with a real seal before being sent by courier to the White House.
Another reasonable assumption would be that the digital fake was created by the White House, then electronically sent to Hawaii for the creation of the paper document by complicit Hawaiian officials.
But is this really what happened? Let's review what we know:

This is important to note, I think.
Look at the fonts on the AP version. It clearly shows things that can’t be seen in the White house Pdf.
The linked article raises the question as to how the embossed seal was made on the copy that Savanna Churchill was able to feel and photograph, assuming that was a color laser printout of the digital forgery.
That’s easily answered. Just search for “notary seal” on eBay and you will see dozens of seal embossers for sale. Of course, none of these will have the official State of Hawaii seal.
She had access to that document only for a moment, and being of the MSM, she had a predisposition of faith to believe anything that the Obama administration claimed.
It’s quite likely that in her joy at being able to help Obama prove that he was truly what he said he was, and her pride in being the one chosen to actually touch the holy document, she had no inclination to carefully examine the embossing to verify that the correct markings were there. Her focus was on the printed information, only noting parenthetically that the seal was present.
If that was a genuine, officially embossed document straight from the archives in Hawaii, the administration would have had no problem allowing any and all reporters at the event to have access to the document.
There’s a reason why only one person got to examine that document, and that person was carefully chosen.

Hard to be taken as a serious reporter when she doesn’t even look critically or objectively at the purported evidence being provided to her for sole examination. I want to believe...

Given the Clinton's long record of digging up dirt on political enemies, I always thought they would have found what ever irregularities there were about Obama's birth and released them in the 2008 campaign. However, the revelations just released about Obama's cannabis fueled high school days would I think have been on the Clinton's radar in 2008 unless they had been deeply hidden. Perhaps Hillary was so confident she would roll over political unknown Obama in 2008 they neglected to do their dirt digging until it was too late. However, I would bet Clinton operatives have now done their home work and may have a bombshell or two waiting for the right moment. If Obama continues to badly falter and there is a general consensus that November will be a disaster for Democrats, Hillary might release her bombshell at least to inner party officials and sink Obama at the convention or less likely blackmail Obama into "choosing" not to seek reelection.
Leave the birth certificate issue be. Go after his college transcripts.
Just ask why if he wants to be the most transparent president in history, he gets more secretive by the day? Is it paranoia? Add that to the leaks, the narcissism, the incompetence and get that to go viral.
Now you can circle back.
That's easy. As long as the 2-D image of the seal is on the document, you merely flip it on a light table, and use a fine tipped embossing stylus...
...to raise the image on the front side. While this would not fool an experienced document examiner, it would be adequate to snooker a casual observer, or somebody really stupid, like a reporter.
And if there is irrefutable proof that he was born in Kenya or elsewhere, what then? NOTHING! We haven't got the politicians (and never will) that have the intestinal fortitude to go after him. He will never be dethroned by this, therefore no "justice".

Obama didn’t release his first forgery until AFTER Hillary conceded the primary. He wanted to be sure she was in a position to be cast as a sore loser or as crazy if she thought about challenging him on this issue. Second, she would have had no way of knowing he was going to release forged/amended credentials. There was still some tension between the two camps, but it got soothed over by the promise to pay off some of her campaign debts and to give her the SOS job.
