Dems REALLY screw up: The BIG speech..Clinton's...will be on opposite NFL opener
one man's opinion...

Posted on 09/05/2012 10:50:36 AM PDT by ken5050

Just realized that I haven't seen this mentioned anywheres, which in and of itself is curious. Months ago, the NFL announced that it was moving its annual kickoff extravaganza from Thursday to Wednesday, in order NOT to detract from Obama's big acceptance speech...

Well, well, how times have changed....

Opposite a rivalry game, no less! Half of the viewers would like to be rooting for both of us to lose!

Go, GIANTS!!!

I saw that, but why did you put that it is 1000 years in the future? I must admit, your style of posting is a tad... disjointed for my taste.

It’s Clinton’s chance to be a real Patriot and say he’s voting for Romney. I don’t think he will, but oh it would be so much fun if that happened.

Heard Slick’s speech is scheduled same time as Halftime (12 minutes) but doubtful it’ll be enough time for Clinton to finish!

Clinton has a history of giving long, long ramblings.

IIRC, one of his early Dem convention speeches went something like 80 minutes in length.

Maybe, the NFL can just break the game at half-time, call a rain-delay [surely it will rain somewhere], and postpone it until sometime Thursday after Obama gives his.

Sounds like my younger brother. He voted for Obama when he was 18. He keeps saying lately that both sides are bad and there is no point in voting. I think he is just annoyed that Obama did not legalize pot. I am pretty sure he is still a liberal head case, by other comments that he makes. Is there a big difference in your age with your brother? I was 11 when my brother was born. Been in plenty of cage matches since he as hit puberty. LOL!!!

.... someone asked in one thread or another, could Obama be throwing the election on purpose because there is going to be severe and bad things happening soon, and the Democrats want no part of it?

I said some time ago that I didn't think Palin would run because she is too smart to win an election and inherit the disaster that Obozo has created/helped along.

The only thing about 'throwing' the election is I just don't see it in Obozo's DNA to lose at anything...

NFL game was moved from Thursday to Wednesday because the Messiah will be speaking on Thursday.

Oh man I was 8 when my brother was born, so I know how it is. That sounds just like my brother, "Both sides suck (except for Ron Paul) and all politicians are the same, so it really doesn't matter who gets in." He professes to be a libertarian, but lately when I go off on Obama he tends to defend him, just because I have no right criticizing him because all politicians are really, really bad. But, he's always real quick to jump on and mock conservatives like Paul Ryan or Sarah Palin. Really annoying, I think it's a stupid teenage phase, go to college, be a liberal, get accepted by everyone.

The frustrating thing is that I quoted to him all the stats about how gas prices have changed, how health care rates are skyrocketing, how groceries bills are shooting up, and how our quality of life is declining. His answer, "Well it was really bad under Bush, they're all the same." He doesn't pay any of these things now, and he has no clue how the real world is like. So, I think a post-graduation period of sending out resumes in this "great economy" should wake his ass up real quick. We don't get in any physical cage matches, but he's a young punk that needs to wake up and stop buying the liberal BS. :P

So was this deliberate? The party in the White House always has their convention after the other party. Did the RNC pick their dates knowing that the Democrats would run up against the opening of football season?

My brother always has to borrow money sometime before pay day. Instead of buying enough cheap food, he buys fast food and of course weed and beer. And then he gripes that he cannot pay our mother for his portion of the phone bill. and she is unemployed. Of course he tells us to stop blaming the economy for not being able to find a job. The job he has now does not drug test and he had friends working their already. I tried to get a job there to no avail. Also, now I remember over 2 years ago he came home and was complaining that some of the workers were taken for being here illegaly. Unbelieveable.

Well, since I am from the future, 3012 in "Futurama" as Obama & Biden are running on the DNC Empty Jar Ticket, we must assume you have never watch it... nor do you appear to have the sense of humor my posts aim at--

So, been nice knowing you... write if you get work!
