Gallup believes turnout may favor Romney in a BIG way

“At this point…Gallup Daily tracking of likely voter preferences suggests Obama has lost more support than he could afford to, given his current [51% to 45%] deficit to his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney.” (1)

If this sounds like good news, the Gallup 7 day tracking poll has even better. Mitt Romney has been ahead of Barack Obama for the past several days with the October 27 result of 51-45 once again putting the challenger over the 50% level into territory which Obama has failed to approach for a very long time.

And now, according to Gallup’s “demographics of likely voters,” it appears the 2012 election will find more Republicans than Democrats heading to the polls on November 6th!

Over the past few years, more voters have been identifying themselves as Republican and fewer as Democrat. As Gallup sees it, this means that...

Our side has been chomping at the bit to get to the polls for two years.

Their side would rather forget the whole thing.

The Dems are hoping it will be 2008. But, alas, it’s going to be 2010.

I don’t understand why Barry and the ‘RATS are running around cheering the early voter turnout. What makes those obnoxious bass turds think the early voters are voting for them? Is voter fraud one of the aspects of early voting?

I’m thinkin’ that they are going to get them.....the voters, probably picking them up in buses, and giving them cigarettes, drugs, you name it, and taking them to vote, numerous times, each person........dollars to donuts they will have more democrat votes than registered votes in precincts in the ghettos in big corrupt cities.

Ohio voter here, and there is a lot of new energy here on the republican side that was not seen in 08. There are a lot of voters here that either sat out the 08 election or that voted for Obama last time that are now saying never again. Never again will we sit on the sidelines and let the children run the show.
Honestly, I am not seeing very many Obama bumper stickers or yard signs this time. I work with people from both sides of the political spectrum and I seldom here from real Obama supporters. The smart ones don’t want to admit their support and the rest... Well they end up getting interviews by the media I suppose.

It can be. However, I think most of the “get out the vote” efforts by democrats are oriented towards poor people who are not real motivated to get to the polls in the first place. Counting on them showing up on election day competes against Oprah, the weather, or any other shiny object that may be more important on that date.

Remember, this is largely aimed at the dependent class so they need a ride and a bit of direction. Self-initiative is not a strong suit. It would be logistically impossible to get them all to the polls on the same day so that is why democrats have pushed so hard for early voting. It gives them many more days to round up voters and drive them to the polls. States with mail-in voting may see door to door collection of ballots to “help them vote” and make sure the ballot gets in the box.

They often employ a carrot to lead “voters” to the polls in the form of some freebie like a happy meal toy, cigarettes, cash, food, alcohol, etc etc.

There is far more fraud than we think. One thing that will really help in this election is the Acorn scandal because they probably represented the most widespread voter fraud machine. Another real asset for Romney this year is the attention that is being paid to voter fraud by independent media.

In a close race, it will make a difference. Look at Al Franken’s “victory” for proof that it matters.

Even in an election that a Republican wins, most of the early voting is by Democrats (Republican votes tend to be cast on voting day itself). The Dems know this, but they need good news for their base, and showing the early voting favoring Obama will do that, so long as no one points out that his early voting advantage is substantial smaller this year than 2008.

Second, they want people are weakly leaning toward Obama to go vote for him before they might change their minds.

Good point. I only like to vote on election day myself but I’ve been chompin’ at the bit to “git-r-done”. I was thinking about early voting yesterday but when I checked, Friday was the last day for early voting in my state.

Going way out on a big limb but I believe that California may break for Romney. Latino’s are not real happy with Obama due to his broken promise on immigration and his disaster in the economy. They see him as a sinking ship. They know that if they do not get on board real soon, they will have no advantage in the new administration.

It worked in the state of Washington with Christine Gregoire

Kings County had 110% of registered Democrats casting votes for her over a very popular challenger.

They have dump trucks full of already marked ballots waiting for delivery. Everyone who has ever been Chicago, including stop overs at Ohare is casting a vote there and all of them are for Obama.

seems like when they have 110% of registered democRATs, there should be a way to say, wtf?, and look into each and every one of those votes.
