#WhyIsMyPaycheckLessThisWeek because Obama Phones and birth control are more important than reducing the debt.

#WhyIsMyPaycheckLessThisWeek Because Congress read the legislation as attentively as you did.

#WhyIsMyPaycheckLessThisWeek Because you didn't do your homework before voting.

Because you are one of the many millionaires and billionaires that are earning $50-$250k

Because Obama family vacations don't pay themselves, comrade.

Because funding the Muslim Brotherhood is more important than putting food on your table.

So Michelle Obama can wear $6800 jackets to meet the Queen of England.

because it's racist to not pay your "fair share."

Because you thought more about your American Idol Vote than you did about The Election.

hey guess what? Welfare checks didn't shrink!!! Thanks Obama!!!

Because you must not work 28 hours and count as full time under Obamacare.

because I'm middle class and need to be punished

Barney Frank needs a new pair of pumps and Spanx.

What? You think "Obama money" grows on trees?

Because when Obama says Tax the Rich, he means anyone with a paycheck.

Obama wants to see if he can count to 22 trillion

because nothing says "go-getter" like 99 wks of unemployment insurance.

cause some women voted with their lady parts instead of their lady smarts.

All of them. Feds had to start paying in the 1980’s, don’t know how, if possible, state and locals can be “exempt” from paying SS or Medicare.

That’s illegal. No one is exempt I thought. I’ll check with my wife, she runs a payroll processing service. She knows all the tax laws.

Mine isn’t going to be the least bit pretty. I DID pay off my truck early, so that frees up more cashflow. I’m HOPING that what I lack in a truck payment now wil cover the spread.

I’m looking into using a Food Pantry for my fixed-income Dad, who is also taking a hit as his supplemental medical insurance goes up this month, too. His SS check and little old me are HIS only means of support...and his health is not all that good.

Went from a two-income family two years ago to just myself (divorce) and now I have my Dad to partially support, too. My adult step-sons are on their own. No milk from this cow, Boys, LOL!

But, it could be worse. And I assure you it will be. I hope everyone, dead or alive that voted for this POS President suffers and suffers to the point where they actually NOTICE it. Grrrrr!

*Rant Off*

Money is earned when the cash (equivalent) is received, not when the work is performed.

Depends on your definition of "received." If dated Dec 30, but you don't see it until Jan 4, when was it "received?"

I’m not rich, but even at my salary that 2% is equal to a good chunk of my monthly mortgage payment.

2% sure doesn't sound like much.

Actually, the amount you pay in social security taxes just went up by 47.6% !

From 4.2% to 6.2% is a 47.6% increase.

If you were paying $100 per paycheck before, you are now paying almost $148 per paycheck.

That's huge!

Back in the late 70s early 80s my wife was a teacher in Ohio and wasn’t in the SocSec system.

She gets a reduced SocSec payment now in retirement to reflect that.

Ah, be of good cheer.

Your paycheque wont be taking a real hit until 2014, when Obamacare becomes official.

My condolances on the divorce. Most expensive experience in my life. So I can empahsi

The hit that I took is about $2600 net for this year and will not count much when it comes time to file in 2014. I’ll bet that I will end up owing a serious chunk of cash to them come April 15, 2014.

Then add in whatever other retroactive taxes they manage to pass will only make it worse. I’m expecting to owe in the neighborhood of $15K. This is to try and break the middle class, and leave us with next to zero for disposable income.

Vacations are out of the question now, as is investing for a retirement that I will now, never see. I have resigned myself to dying at my desk and hope that rigor mortise sets in before I am noticed to be dead, that way they can’t say I died on the way to the hospital (double indemnity).

This is the plan, we will have less net, and then a $1200+/month nut to crack on a yearly filing basis that will then take the entire year to pay off plus interest and penalties. This while claiming single/zero. Bye bye to exemptions for my minor children, mortgage interest, state income tax deduction, and whatever other taxes they can come up with.

Expect the seizure of your 401k and pensions in the next few years for a guaranteed subsistance living in some sort of stripped down version of “The Villages in Florida”. Like “Stepford” for seniors where you are drugged out and waiting for death.

I don’t mean to be so gloomy but if one examines to their logical conclusion the policies being implemented by those in power, you can see where this leads. Strip you of your wealth and strip you of the means to accumulate any real wealth. It’s essentially bondage.

Completely unnecessary.

I'm one of the few feds out there who appreciates that I work for the taxpayer, not vice versa. No need to get nasty with me.

The 97% won’t see an income tax increase, but the social security increase is a different thing altogether.

Our increase kicked in with pay period 26, which ended Dec 29th. Our official pay date is in January, therefore the increase.

Need to remind the nitwit that the payment is based upon earnings, not payments paid in. Whether they take 5%, 7.5, or 10% of the gross, the benefit is based upon that gross, and remains unchanged.

Considering his “understanding” of the system, it is no surprise that he’s a Zero (information) voter.
