A follow up to this post on Powell's continued defection from the party that helped him rise to where he is today.
Colin Powell is a racist. He would have voted for Bam if he was a four headed zombie because he was BLACK!
I’m tired of being branded with racial discrimination and our sheepish inability to fend off white guilt, which is liberally heaped upon us at every turn by angry black men like Colin Powell. and he isn’t even a RINO. He was never a Republican.
Powell and Oprah are as biased as they come. Maybe they don’t care that Zero is only half black.

On an unrelated issue, in the Sandy bill, Shep ‘The Queen’ Smith just hailed the passing of a pork-filled rescue fund with the statement “The people prevailed’. He makes me almost as sick as Colin Powell does.
I am not so sure the liberals who have taken over the party are the Rino’s. The liberals have made the party their own.
I felt more like a Rino as a conservative than the liberals in the party did.
I left that worthless liberal party last year.
I don’t miss them but they sure miss me judging by the junk mail they send.

Colin Powell voted Democrat the last 2 presidential elections. Not only that, he campaigned for a Democrat the last 2 elections. He was never a conservative and he’s not even a Republican. That’s all GOPers have to say when asked about Powell by the press. Just leave it at “well, Powell voted Democrat the last 2 elections so he’s obviously not a Republican. We wish him well. Next question?”
It is a shame that so many Republicans feel racist guilt that they so wanted Powell to be one of their own. And yes, it was because of his skin color. If Powell was some white guy we would have long forgotten him.
