Hitler uses the Obama excuse: "I don't blame people for being outraged. I'm outraged too. I learned about this holocaust from the news reports, just like the rest of you."
One of the comments by C Stanley on the Althouse blog made this darkly humorous comment in the headline. Remember, there are no written orders from Hitler ordering the extermination of the Jews. Perhaps his supporters just assumed that's what he wanted done and went ahead on their own, like the IRS underlings in Cincinnati. Could it be that Hitler has been wrongly accused all this time? That he would have put a stop to it if he had only known?
Yeah, it all makes sense now. If only Hitler Obama had known.
Sadly there are revisionist types who claim exactly this.
Is there anyone out there that doubts that Obama personally ordered the IRS attacks? Anyone?
I remember that shortly after the Watergate break-in, when Ron Ziegler called it a third rate burglary, thinking...the White House is denying this...too hard...there must be something to it. It took two years but with the help and a big push from the media...Nixon fell.
Let’s see where the media is...say...six months down the road...as the top people in the IRS start singing. Maybe a little immunity for Lois Lerner...may loosen things up?

The problem is that he didn't have to have "personally ordered" it. By demonizing the Tea party, he put a clear target on their backs. His minions in the IRS could then carry out his wishes without his ever having to explicitly order them to do it. While the hatchet job gets done as if he had ordered it, he maintains his "plausible deniability".

Obama was and is a community organizer, and frankly I don't think he is really smart enough to come up with all the plans himself.
When the next presidential election cycle gears up Obama will face a wall, but until then it is just going to be 'scandal de jour.'
The US press is in an impossible situation. If they try to act like journalists, the shots across the bow, like James Rosen, serve to shut them up. The fact that nothing substantive has come from the Rosen affair serves as a warning that they will not have anyone watching their hindquarters.
Who is going to do anything to curb the Executive Branch, the one who controls all police forces of various alphabet agencies, as well as the armed forces?
Once the Executive Branch is no longer moral and committed to the founding principles, the game is essentially over. It’s just a question of whether they will use the propaganda channels and the violent force they have available to suppress dissent. My bet is yes, they will.
Agreed...Obama is an affirmative action empty suit. He merely personifies the lefts’ fascism. It’s Soros/Jarrett/Axelrod...and others who push this ideology.
