Why Sukkot Is Yeshua’s Real Birthday [Today!]
Jewish Voice Blog ^

Sandie Zimmerman, wife of Jewish Voice’s Messianic Rabbi Jack Zimmerman, shares fascinating revelations about the true time period of Yeshua’s (Jesus’) birth in this YouTube video.

You will be surprised to learn it wasn’t December 25! By looking at the biblical account and the timing of the Jewish festivals, you will be astounded at the fulfillment of both prophecy and the historical elements that clearly point to Yeshua being born at the time of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles or Feast of Booths), not in December on Christmas.

He is clearly talking ‘about the Law’ .....

Jesus told them repeatedly that they kept.... ‘the letter of the law’... but ‘lost’ the spirit... they made a show of loving God with their public prayers etc....

“Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying:

.... “The scribes and the Pharisees sit ‘in Moses seat’ (Law)..... Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do”. Matt 23:1-5

Peter also accused the Jewish leaders when he said...

” Now therefore.. why do you test God by putting ‘a yoke’ (bondage) on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” ....Acts:15:11-10

Jesus continually reinforced his accusations against ‘their unwillingness to maintain a consistency between their tradition and ‘the written law’.... “They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”..Matt:15:14

When you place the law...such as following certain dates times etc...on the shoulders of Christians it’s placing them back under bondage to those requirements....Jesus fulfilled these entirely...so if you follow the commandments of God then you are in bound to keep the entire Law and Gods commandments. Our walk with Him is a walk of faith,...not under the law....

And by the way..... Moses ‘broke’ the ten commandments the first time around when he smashed the tablets at the foot of Mt. Siani and a second set Moses had to ‘hewn out of stone’ rather than as God did that the first time around...

..At that time the Lord said to me (Moses),
“Hew ‘for yourself’ two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain and make yourself an ark of wood. ....And I [God] will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, ‘which you broke’; and you shall put them in the ark.”

God never told Moses to break them...he did this on his own..so they were literally broken before the people ever got them.

That's right...he fulfilled all the Law...not just some of it...he satisfied all the requirements God commanded..... .....but if you believe Jesus fulfilled the law...then why put the bondage of keeping rituals, times dates and ordinaces etc. on the shoulders of people when He took those on Himself.....it brings an individual back under bondage to all the law which Jesus lifted from Him.

Again, you are confusing the laws of the Pharisees with the commandments of the Almighty. However, where you do not, you are wrong in your belief that followers of Yeshua are free to ignore the commandments that pertain to the people (not the laws pertaining to priests and etc.) as recorded in the Torah.

The following might provide you with more insight:

Mat. 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Yeshua was exactly right of course (apologies for the poor image):

You show your love by following his commandments and seeking the truth.

The Almighty sent Messiah into the world to give us opportunity of life everlasting - not so we might sin without regard to the consequences. Sinning means ignoring His commandments. Confessing ones sins, regularly and publicly, is one thing the Catholic Church got right, IMO.

Why do you find it so burdensome to follow His commandments? You obliviously celebrate both Christmas and Easter. Why not instead celebrate the actual days of true miracles, now that you know, instead of continued observance of the pagan worship days of old?

If you want to be the most famous atheist in the world, the best way would be to disprove the resurrection of Christ.

If you can do that, you’d be more famous than Darwin.
