Now All Can See Why Obama & Christie Get Along SO Damn Well!
Reaganite Republican ^ | 09 January 2014 | Reaganite Republican

Both the same kind of unprincipled, vengeful,
mafioso-mentality thug that should never
be allowed anywhere near the levers of power...

If we as constitutional conservatives somehow allow a Chris Christie nomination to become reality in 2016 after this latest scandal, then shame on us- the GOP Establishment golden boy's aides have been caught red-handed ordering bridge lanes closed for four days, creating traffic snarls  -and causing at least one death via ambulance delay- for no other reason than retaliation against a whole town (Fort Lee, NJ) because their Dem mayor (who Christie staffers referred to as 'that little Serbian') refused to endorse his re-election campaign last fall...  sound familiar?

And since the Governor -as we often get with Obama- is now lying his considerable ass off to cover up ("knew nothing, I'm appalled, blah blah blah"), if that can be proven, it will make our task of stopping this blobular egomaniac all the easier- regardless, nobody believes he didn't know what his top staff were up to -their desks were steps away- so the damage may already be done.

It's the same as with Hillary and Benghazi- if Republicans can't wrap that tightly around her neck by election time, why do we even bother getting involved in politics. The nomination is likely hers for the taking, yet some think her a 'weak candidate' in the 2016 general election, and some Democrats and advisers are even recommending against her running

With Hillary's long-time running fear of vast, right-wing conspiracies, perhaps she has a bit more respect -read 'fear'- for the TEA Party than nominal Republican Chris Christie. But he was already rumored to have some major skeletons in his closet, so along with the new bridge-closing scandal Gov Christie will be taught to respect the constitutional-conservative right... when our candidate kicks his butt all up-and-down the field in the GOP presidential primary- if not sooner.

I’ll say it again: Christie has probably never had any interest in running for president. Even if he was the best governor in the country and a man of flawless character, he’d be hard pressed to win a single state west of the Delaware River.

Hillary and Benghazi- if Republicans can’t wrap that tightly around her neck

Dream on, when was the last time Republicans have pressed an advantage? Well, let me re-state that, an advantage that helps our side....

What’s his end-game then?

He’s clearly ambitious...

I think Christie was eyeballing the AG seat, where he’d run the whole thing for five or six years and help his “friends” and punish his “enemies”. You kinda see his behavior here at work. The current AG is being used in the same way....as is the EPA.

At this point, zero chance of Christie amounting to anything of a serious nature in the primary except in NY and NJ. Zero chance of him doing anything in Iowa.

I have seen Christie (on TV) only one time, and it was when he was giving a hug to Obozo after the Hurricane. That was all I needed to see.

Chuck retard on nbc saying about Christie welcome to the bright lights. Their beating on this and swallowing camels elsewhere makes me sick. Vetting process is what he said. All I think about is Benghazi Hillary and Hussein Obama and where are the “bright lights” on this tragedy of malfeasance at best.

I agree with you 100%. I've long believed that he was positioning himself to use his ability to raise money for the GOP to elevate himself as a prime contender for the AG position. It's a natural fit for a guy who is a former Federal prosecutor.

Ironically, I also suspected that might have been why Rudy Giuliani launched his comical presidential campaign, too.

I’m always amazed how fast a republican scandal pops up to end discussion about an Obama scandal
Gates book is knocked right off the headlines after a few days.
Of course nothing could cover for Obama care but they damn sure tried.

Give credit here to (I’m betting) the majority of Freepers who saw this creep for what he is long before this scandal occurred. His quasi-endorsement of Lord Obama in 2012 was the last straw for me.

If this episode kills his Presidential chances we will be the better off for it. But don’t ignore the fact that he is the MSM’s choice for the GOP nomination as insurance against an unexpected failure of Queen Hillary to pull it off in 2016. So expect to see a Save Christy campaign starting soon. Damaged but not destroyed goods and a closet Dem to boot - just what the MSM wants for a GOP nominee in 2016.

If your observation is correct, I would guess the pubs will be giving him the nomination.

MSNBC spent the whole last night trashing Christie on this, and they will spend today too. He’s obviously a threat to them. (I heard that rule someplace before many times)

Now over at FNC they talked mainly about Gates book.

Now I have no doubt that Christie purposely sabatoged Mitt Romney’s campaign in 2012. He was mad that he didn’t pass the vetting for Romney’s VP and stuck the shiv in Romney by praising Obama so heavily during the last days of the 2012 campaign.

What a pig. I am so glad he got exposed before he could get the nomination.

I am so happy - it is like Christmas all over again. I am watching MSNBC bashing Christie non-stop(and I almost never watch them).

Fox news is really letting me down. They are barely and grudgingly covering this Christie bridge story.

All of Christie's sabotages put together are utterly dwarfed by what 0bama is doing to the nation.
