The 'Herman Caining' of Ted Cruz: Believes criticism of senator's wife began with 'Rove-Priebus'
WorldNetDaily ^ | April 6, 2015 | Mychal Massie

The “Herman Caining” of conservative presidential candidate Ted Cruz has begun. And first out of the attack gates are half-truths and no truth about his wife and her professional career.

Tuesday, March 24, during an on-air interview on “The Manning Report,” the host, my good friend Dr. James David Manning, quizzed me pursuant to a Ted Cruz candidacy. My response was that we could expect in the very near future negative stories to start surfacing about not just Ted Cruz, but also his wife. I could not have been more prescient.

The attack centers on Mrs. Cruz’s involvement in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and her alleged role in crafting a CFR document espousing North American unity. This attack is designed to be red meat to those who see the New World Order in juice glasses.

I cannot prove it – yet – but every fiber of my political being says this has Karl Rove’s and Reince Priebus’ fingerprints all over it. Rove and Priebus are committed to dragging Jeb Bush to the Republican presidential nomination on a three-wheel dolly if that’s what it takes.

That said, there is no scenario by which they are going to allow Ted Cruz to gain traction if they can help it. Their Erebusic strategy is well-written, well-rehearsed and it has been hugely successful, because the one thing Republican voters have proven capable of doing better than any other political group is throwing the best candidates under the bus.

The Rove-Priebus modus operandi is to destroy any candidate they deem a threat to the Republican establishment if said candidates are permitted to gain office....

Yes , I agree. Fox has him on because Roger Ailes is a Rino. He is from the old Rockefeller liberal days. He makes money off of pandering to the right but watch the commentary closely and you will repeatedly see bashing of conservative and a co-opting of the conservatives to include bushes and christies and that damned romney. We just stay home on that crap. Always have and always will. Stop “Winner Take all” primaries in your state. Stop it now. Demand a runoff of the top two and watch these liberal bastar%s scramble. Save the party . Save America!! To hell with RINOS!!

You can’t Herman Cain Ted Cruz. Wasn’t Herman Cain accused by several women of sexuality harassment and worse ? With all respect to Herman Cain, he is no Ted Cruz.

Cain had over 800 potential nuisance charges that were coming one after another. The stuff with the women coming out of the woodwork saying he looked at them funny and such things all dried up the day he withdrew.

And no, Ted Cruz and Herman Cain are very different people -- But the press types are painfully the same

>>Rove was working for President Nixon before anyone ever heard of Dubya.

And who else but a RINO would institute Wage & Price Controls?

You are the only one I know that is concerned about that. I won't vote for someone who promotes illegal amnesty. And Cruz doesn't.

You can argue all you want, and take things out of context from a long time ago, but I'm still sending Cruz money and voting for him in the Primary.

If he ain't there, I ain't voting.

If they are unable to attack Ted Cruz, they will attack his wife, his children even his dog(if he has one) or his cat, or any pet that Ted may have had in the past. Since they don’t have the “BALLS” to debate Ted Cruz, because he would make mince meat out of them. And I don’t mean only from the democrats. These entrenched REPUBLICANS are just as scared of Ted Cruz. But they won’t debate him either.

And to think Bush Jr. called Rove “my brain.” In 1994, Savage said that the two parties were really one party taking turns riding the gravy train. I didn’t believe him. But Savage is vindicated now, and how. Not one of the other hosts give Savage credit for being years ahead on that one. Remember Rush saying in 2006 after the Dems swept house and senate, that he wasn’t going to carry water for the Republican party anymore. It was too late, Rush. You screwed up royally. If Rush had come down on Bush Jr for spending like a drunken sailor and and sacrificing conservative principles and liberty, we might not be deviled by Obama now. Bush Jr. would thought twice if Rush had disciplined him. I will never forgive Rush for defending Bush Jr blindly until the Dems took over. Nor will I ever ever forgive Bush Jr. for the Patriot Act.

I don’t see a problem. He and his staff can get past this early, shove it up the GOPe asses, and keep moving upward.

Cruz is crowd funding his campaign

Ted Cruz is raising money from lots of small contributors, in what outside of politics would be called ‘’crowd funding’’. Still the numbers add up, as they totals show. This is in contrast with Jeb Bush and his special interest funding.

Anyone can be part of Ted Cruz’ crowd funding by making a contribution on his website, https://www.tedcruz.org/donate

And the correct answer to anyone stating the obvious about the Press is "SO WHAT"!"

Who really cares?

Ted Cruz will stay on message, his message will continue to resonate with the base, and he will win primaries.

Even if he wins the primaries, is nominated and loses, I don't care. Not that I believe that will be the case, but seriously, I want a candidate I can vote for. Not some piece of crap candidate like Romney, McCain, Jeb Bush, Huckabee, etc.

Right there with you. Jeb wouldn’t be as disastrous as Obummer has been. Quite frankly, I am tired of the Bush/Clinton regimes. I quite like the fire that I see in Cruz.

Herman Cain isn’t even in the same ballpark as Ted Cruz. Cruz can deal with the establishment BS that’s being thrown his way and he doesn’t have the skeletons in his close that Cain had with sexual harassment.

Most states don’t allow or certainly don’t tally “none of the above” votes.

It would be hard for Cruz to come near Cain’s meltdown,
