Gun control Hypocrites will never end the push to disarm Americans
The Coach's Team ^ | 7/3/16 | John C. Velisek USN (Ret.)

Once again the American people are being inundated with the fallacy that more restrictive gun control legislation is necessary to protect us and keep us safe. As usual, liberals are doing all they can to take our guns in order to protect us from us, or rather them from the Constitution. We hear that it’s “for the children,” a standard and thoroughly fraudulent claim by the left to divide the country on the 2nd Amendment. The left champion narratives about “assault rifles” and “weapons of war” to instill fear in those who know nothing of firearms. A week ago, congressional Democrats staged a sit in for the supposed purpose of forcing a vote on gun control legislation. It was later found to be a fundraising ploy used by progressives to extract political contributions from ill-informed citizens.

According to the FBI approximately 11,000 homicides have been committed with firearms in each of the past several years, a number which continues to decline. Yet each year there are a minimum of 225,000 iatrogenic deaths. These are deaths caused by misdiagnosis, incorrect prescribing of medication, unnecessary surgeries, in short, very bad medicine on the part of doctors or hospitals. Does this mean that the government is soon to demand “doctor control?”

Not surprisingly, liberals outraged by firearm deaths are perfectly at ease with the 1 million+ average yearly abortions in the United States. But then, the mind-numbing hypocrisy of the left is an old story.

The Obama administration and others who encourage “common sense” gun control firmly belief that only agencies and employees of the state should be permitted the use of firearms. Democrat Congressman Jerrold Nadler admitted that the drive to control gun ownership will happily provide the government its uncontestable “monopoly of legitimate violence.” Why else would...

“For the Children” was also one of the mantras for abortion.

I am beginning to wonder if this Second Amendment push we are getting hit over the head with isn’t because the Dems and #neverTrump people have nothing else to bring up..

Stop and look at this, they can’t bring up the economy, it’s the worst it’s been since this country was formed; they can’t bring up jobs, they have given those away for deals that they have made to put money into their own pockets; they can’t bring up health care, it’s failing and needs to be buried; they can’t bring up anything...

The House, Senate and White House have nothing to run on...so what do they do, like they always do when they have ‘nothing’ pick on the Second Amendment because they know the American People will NEVER hear of it being re worded or done away with...

Barky wants a war before he leaves office, Russia backed him down again today...so the only thing he has left is rile the American people up over the second amendment to ‘get his war’ so he can enact Martial Law...

Well, there are an estimated 400 million firearms in USA ( varies which report you read, perhaps half are not papered so they don’t know exactly). And Obama/californication are scaring many millions more Americans to get some protection. Highest “papered” sales in history. -—— realistically, the “gun conttol” idiots can never disarm American citizens. The more illegal restrictions they enact, the more Americans acquire protection ( and the more of it is direct sales away from the increasingly annoying or difficult. snoopervision) -— Anyone remember prohibition? The restaurants bars clubs warehouses and private sales — and private manufacture —overwhelmed the nation.

Hmmm. “For the children”? So, let me get this straight. Somebodies “right” to an abortion has more protection under the constitution than my (alleged) right to keep and bear arms. Kinda odd since abortions have destroyed more “tissue matter” than any of my firearms. I really don’t like these people. Consider that your chances of sustaining a gunshot wound are in the range of 0.0001%. What are the abortion chances? Of course if they take me now, it’d be considered a late term abortion. Gun control in California is about Mexican Separatists trying to disarm the Gringos so the Takeover and can be completed.

Kevin De Leon is a Mexican Nationalist full of hatred towards Americans, and no one knows why he is in our Legislature since he has no connection to the Americans, unless you think of a parasite as a “connection”.

How about we treat guns the way we treat muslims...

In supposedly gun free Australia they have had more bizarre incidents of guns than ever, father shoots himself with a scoped rifle in head while car has two children in it driving off a dock at high speed into deep water, happened in Adelaide.

It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to disarm America, even if you gave out $10,0000 per gun, even if it was punishable by death, not in a hundred years, just won’t happen. Harder they try the more guns will ge bought.

Let them try harder!

Too slow!

We have gotten long past facts. Gun control, like abortion, is a firmly planted (promoted & defended) religious plank in the dim party platform.

I think there are two main reasons the ‘liberal’ politicians want to propose these insane gun control bills;

1. How many of the politicians own stock in the gun manufacturing sector or related retail outlets? A ton of money is being made by people who own stocks in these industries.

2. Democide. see here; http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/20TH.HTM

cliff note; Democide is Death by Gonvernment.

The number of people killed by their own government after disarming them is staggering. I think this is the goal (known or not) of the current crop of congress welfare recipients.

What the people promoting this gun control/disarmament do not appreciate is that when the goal is reached, they are the first killed. They think they are safe because they are helping.

The driving force behind the disarmament know that the ‘woman scorned’ reaction will come as soon as the treachery is realized and the anger by the useful idiots will be white hot. Therefore they must be removed first.

Those who have been made criminals by the ridiculous laws can be rounded up at leisure. After all those who DROS are known (address and all). The seller can burn the 4473 but you are a fool if you think the computer that responds with yes or no doesn’t keep a record.

New technology allows viewing through normal household walls for people positions and in some cases even if they are holding something. Nothing can go wrong there, eh?

We must hit the soap box and the ballot box hard to defeat these traitorous elected welfare recipients.

The alternative is terrible to contemplate.

“Gun control” is a convenient & reliable stick to beat the Right with.
I don’t think the Left really wants to win the issue because that would end an effective rallying & fundraising tool. Notice how they never bring it up when they have the votes to win...

And to think, in 1962 Thomas J Dodd and Emauell Cellar proposed the first federal law on common firearms.

1962; “We don’t want to take away your guns, we ONLY want to register handguns! Rifles and shotguns will not be affected”.

1964: “We only want to register all your guns, not ban them! Only 5 shot bolt action Army surplus rifles will be banned.”

1968: “We only want to register your guns, and ban “Saturday Night Specials” and small foreign handguns along with army surplus rifles!” (They got the ban on 5 shot army surplus rifles and handguns and small foreign pistols)

1970: “We only want to ban Saturday night specials! Large handguns and rifles will not be affected!”

1976: “We only want to ban all handguns! Long guns will not be affected!”

1981: “The NRA is a rifle organization! They should give up their handguns, and they can keep their rifles!”- Lee Grant on GMA

1984: “We must ban “assault Rifles, unsuitable or hunting!”

1989: George Bush bans import of some foreign made “assault rifles”.

1992: Assault rifle ban passed by Clinton.

2000: first calls to ban single shot .50 cal rifles...

2012 calls for MORE bans on semi auto rifles and handguns. If you can’t ban them then go after ammo limits, the magazines and styles of the stocks.

And so it continues.

They lied to us in 1962.
They lied to us in 1964.
They lied to us in 1968.
They lied to us in 1970.
They lied to us in 1976.
They lied to us in 1981.
They lied to us in 2013,

AND THEY ARE LYING TO US NOW!
***
And how they are going to do it, one step at a time.

Nelson T. ‘Pete’ Shields
Founder of Handgun Control, Inc.

“I’m convinced that we have to have federal legislation to build on. We’re going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily — given the political realities — going to be very modest.

Of course, it’s true that politicians will then go home and say, ‘This is a great law. The problem is solved.’ And it’s also true that such statements will tend to defuse the gun-control issue for a time.

So then we’ll have to strengthen that law, and then again to strengthen that law, and maybe again and again. Right now, though, we’d be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal — total control of handguns in the United States — is going to take time.

My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition — except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors — totally illegal.”

-Pete Shields, Chairman and founder, Handgun Control Inc., “A Reporter At Large: Handguns,” The New Yorker, July 26, 1976, 57-58

“Yes, I’m for an outright ban [on handguns].”

-Pete Shields, Chairman emeritus, Handgun Control, Inc., 60 Minutes interview

HCI, around 1984, came out in favor of a ban on semi-auto rifles and shotguns.
