civil hearing. The outside counsel the repubs brought in was a huge mistake. She is treating Ford so delicately she might as well just say we know you are telling the truth and Kavanaugh is guilty.
Well that’s not good ... that means she is absolutely going to grill Kavanaugh when its his turn.
Yes, there have been no outbursts from the gallery. Isn't it interesting that they have no problem providing a civilized forum for this woman, but utterly failed to do so for Judge Kavanagh's testimony last week.
Any highlights worth mentioning yet?
She has a mouse voice, and was wavering on the verge of tears at the beginning.. it was pretty good, I think it was well designed.
So far the cross examination lady is sort of lame, as is the format.
Lady lawyer for the GOP gets five minutes, get's cut off mid-question then another Democratic demagogue starts up with their apology to her, accusations, condemnation of people threatening the witness, etc. Another thousands of letters.
The Democrats in order: Feinstein, Leahey, Durbin, so far. These are three horrible people. But it's still very asymetrical: They are in full dungeon, decrying the GOP, decrying Kavanaugh, etc.
Meanwhile the only GOPer we have heard from is the octogenerian Leahey who keeps asking her if she wants coffee, if she's comfortable, etc.
So, it is as predicted an ugly circus.

Thank you. I remember when this whole debacle first started and some female talking head was baffled by someone else on the panel who was not impressed by Ford's story. The talking head asked; "So, you need more evidence?" I was yelling at my t.v., "how about any evidence!" There is no evidence.
I would like to know how drunk she was at that party. From reports that are trickling out, it seems she was quite a drinker, even at 15/16 years of age. Was she drunk when this happened? I think that would be a relevant question to ask her. But, they won't because of the blow back it would receive from the media and the Dems.
I simply can't watch this anymore. I have been listening to these lies for days now and watching a decent man's life and career being destroyed by evil politicians for political gain. I am beyond disgusted with the creatures of D.C.
We may find that this testimony “explodes” on the internet; perhaps even goes viral.
Grassley and the repubs have totally screwed kavanah. The democrats ask questions and fill the record with lies and thecreoublicans have this silly prosecutor women speak for them and she talks to ford like shes speaking to a new born baby. ZERO crioss examination is happening. Its so one sided is sickening. Grassley is an incompetent idiot. this is over. Kavanaughs nomination is over.

The GOP is so obsessed with not being called meanies that they make stupid, stupid decisions over and over and over. Trump doesn't care about what the press writes so he's incredibly effective.
