That’s lot more of a proxy war than a civil war.

1/3 territory Turkish control, 1/3 USA/kurd, 1/3 Syrian (assad)

The world isn’t yawning, the world is doing it!

DID YOU KNOW??

Putin signed a ban on comparisons between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany last July.

That means someone could be jailed for mentioning the collaboration between Hitler and Josef Stalin. “Stalin perpetrated a man-made famine that can be called a genocide in Ukraine 90 years ago, the ‘Holodomor’ which claimed some 3 million Ukrainian live.,”

Putin is running a “special military operation”, in his own words. He is freeing the people of Ukraine by death.

Of course it’s hypocritical. But we’re not supposed to look for the truth. We are supposed to blindly accept every pronouncement from the Ukraine Ministry of Truth or Ginger Goebbels.

Putin’s not even a Leninist.

STALINIST MAYBE, BUT VERY DIFFERENT LIFE GOALS.

If that statue was near me I’d tear it down. For sure.

Lenin is very far from an object of worship in Russia... more likely the opposite. It is not clear just who did this...

Likely the Little Big Guy.

Putin was in the news not long ago praising the legacy Lenin had left the country. Lenin was, of course, ruthless but was smart enough to delegate the pain to committees and the wet work to street thugs like Stalin. That model most certainly resonated with the former KGB operative.

There are always 30 wars going on and it may shock you to learn people have a right to decide what they care about most.

Let me know how many of those wars

1 Are in Europe

2 Involve the largest European country against the 2nd largest

3. Involve our nuclear adversary as the aggressor

4 involve countries that have a huge impact on world food and oil supplies

5 will give Russia Black Sea access

6 would give Russia access to Poland

7 That will likely lead to China attacking Taiwan

The list could be longer but please take a look at those 30 wars and let me know if any of them match the reasons I’m concerned about Ukraine - plus humanitarian reasons.

I can’t help it that you are unaware of the strategic importance of this particular war.

Everyone has had a chance to leave unless held under gunpoint by brother Azov.

This is regime change by any other name.....

Stalin championed the USSR in the 1920s. Lenin preferred one country. So the .ukrainians would prefer Stalin; Putin prefers Lenin.

The statue is local and is returned to the exact place where it was for decades, until a couple of years ago it was removed by the Kiev regime.

They also re-lit the eternal flame and cleaned the WW2 memorial in Kherson...good for them.

Comrade Putin has forgotten the full definition and consequences of air supremacy, not just air superiority.

We still have it, their bluff has been called at the moment, China’s probably cringing about it and so long as we keep it, we preserve freedom and win any non-radioactive challenge.

Although we’re not so good on biological challenges from enemies at the moment.
