Meanwhile, in Syria, the Civil War continues. Ten years and over one half million dead, and the world yawns.

Russian soldiers supposedly putting up statues of Lenin in Ukraine - while I watched BLM soldiers tearing down statues of Jefferson and Lee right in my own town.

The neo-marxists at home want gullible people to worry about the old marxists 5000 miles away.

Sure Jan! This is totally believable. Where’d they get the Lenin statue? Amazon? Did they tow it in?

My bet is this picture dates from 1989.

It looks a seam at the armpit level and upper thigh. Maybe they used JB weld. Not sure how long it will last.

Reminds me of the Faber statute. Maybe there is a plaque - “Knowledge is Good.”

Excellent point. I've mentioned to several folks that Wikipedia is listing 30-40 wars currently ongoing in various places. To those who were claiming the US has a "moral obligation" to intervene in 'unjust' wars, I inquired if there might be people or wars higher on the list than Ukraine, that needed the attention of the US military acting as 'Globo Robo Cop'. Most of them got pissed, and one also started splitting hairs about European invasions vs. 'jungle wars' vs. 'civil wars' - but after all of their talk about America needing to intervene in Ukraine 'to save human lives', it just looked hypocritical, the way they ignored all of the other wars on the planet...

The statue is local and is returned to the exact place where it was for decades, until a couple of years ago it was removed by the Kiev regime.

(Not commenting on the wisdom of doing this, especially that Lenin is very far from an object of worship in Russia... more likely the opposite. It is not clear just who did this... likely the new local authorities.)

Putin is Stalin II>

Putin is an exact duplicate of the ā€œRed Czarā€ Stalin.

Stalin killed his opposition social great or small. He also had great focus on implemented large-scale on economic, social and cultural reforms.

Stalin initiated collectivized farms: controlled by the state, that transformed the lifestyle and existence of rural farmers.

Stalinā€™s program created the infamous ā€˜dekulakisationā€˜ of the countryside, where kulaks (land-owning farmers) were dubbed class enemies and rounded up to be arrested, deported or executed at the hands of the state.

IMO Putin is just a communist KGB thug: neo ā€˜Red-Czarā€™ like his prototype Stalin. Putin utilizes social media sourced agents just like the tactic of USSR used KGB to disrupt opposition.

President Vladimir Putin privately threatened to invade Poland, Romania and the Baltic States, according to a record of a conversation with his ex-Ukrainian counterpart.
ā€œIf I wanted, in two days I could have Russian troops not only in Kiev, but also in Riga, Vilnius, Tallinn, Warsaw and Bucharest,ā€ Mr. Putin.

Putin is just old KGB & will eliminate by assassination anyone, anywhere for his convenience.

The civil war in the Congo was the bloodiest conflict since WWII. Most people never knew it was happening, much less cared.

There were 2600 Lenin statues in Ukraine.

This Kherson region had 113.

The broken statue was probably not far away, just need a little superglue
