A chaotic scene unfolded in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Friday in which a woman was flung into the air after being struck by a car during a police chase.
Video showed 57-year-old Juanita Gray being struck and going airborne.
The incident came after police had been chasing Gray’s son, 38-year-old JaJuan Burley.
Fort Wayne police said that the incident began at about 10 a.m. when police sought to pull over a vehicle that did not comply, according to WPTA-TV.
According to U.K.’s Daily Mail, the chase continued for about 20 minutes until it reached the street where Gray lives.
Police said that during a brief stop, an “item exchange occurred between the suspect and his mother,” who had emerged from the house.
The vehicle then began to exit the property. At that point, the woman was struck by the vehicle as she attempted to return inside the house.

This other story says the cops chased the guy but also the mother is being held on a charge of obstruction of justice.
I used to live in Fort Wayne. I know exactly which part of town that occurred.
If she’s smart, she’ll sell T-shirts with that picture on them.
What a pair of idiots !!! On a drug run being chased by PD but makes it back home to hand off the drugs to Mama then runs her down trying to get back on the road and attempt escape.
You might run away from the chase, but you will not outrun Motorola !!! They will eventually get your getto a$$.
Just by having that first name ‘JaJuan’, some people are pretty sure they know what’s coming.
It shouldn’t be so predictable, but it is.
They will probably add several more Drug charges. Accepting drugs, Possession of Drugs, possibly Conspiracy to distribute drugs, etc

In the real world animal kingdom, ruled by natural selection, mom and son wouldn’t have survived long enough to be involved in this stunt.
