Paramount confirmed that they will indeed distribute the fifth season boxset on March 1st. This is a 3-DVD set, featuring all 14 episodes. No other details were included just yet. For now, this is what the cover art is going to look like.
On the possibilities of a directors commentary, we're not sure. Some rumors were that the DVD set was delayed because of the Team America movie and Paramount was unable to get a commentary track laid for the set. Once we get more news on this item, we'll post it.
Waiting for O.C - Old Cracker to show up blasting this thread...
I want to know when the "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset" will go on sale.
The Paris Hilton episode had to be the funniest since the Metrosexual Episode. Do I detect a pattern here?
Oh my God, I can't believe you said that... I've been in p!ssing matches with that guy. Apparently he's a spectacle we should just ignore and not argue with?
I'm pretty sure they've stated in interviews that their own personal beliefs are pretty much libretarian/conservative.
What season are we in now?
I'm not entirely sure.
They did an interview for a broadcaster here in the UK where they were talking about their intense dislike for their home state Senator - a beer heir in Colorado I think. Definitely a Republican.
Maybe it was just him they disliked?
Did you see the Whore-off episode last week? WOW! That was just a bit over the top for me, and I really like South Park.
You beat me to the punch. Can't wait to see what the old fart has to say this time. I wonder if he will boycott Blockbuster?
That was probably Pete Coors. Stone and Parker are pretty libertarian, which makes them very right on some issues and very left on others. I don't think they're the "anarhcy" brand of libertarians, though.
Either way, "South Park" can be fun to watch and "Team America" was hysterical.
When does Team America come out on DVD???
Does Kenny die in this one?
Timmy hasn't died in a while, I dont think.
We're in the eighth season. I believe there are two episodes remaining.
The Butters gets hit in the eye with a throwing star episode is one of the best ones of the season. In fact, all the ones where He is prominent are the best ones.
As long as South Park is on the air, some of us are mired in The Season of Poor Taste.
