Mrs. Keely: We can get the Pope to bless the wedding; it's not hard.
Senator Keely: Yeah... no, too controversial. Maybe Billy Graham... no, too liberal.

I've never seen a version when Mrs. Cleaver drops the n-bomb. As you can imagine, it was incredibly hilarious. The idea of Mrs. Cleaver saying the n word was really, really wild back then.

Can you even imagine the response if "Blazing Saddles" was just released now! The protests would be unbelievable. LOL And that is the sad part. Blazing Saddles was a scathing indictment of racism. But today the Lefties, which pride themselves on their ability to grasp "nuance," could never get the message.

Disney ran "Song of the South" many times on his Sunday night "The Wide World of Disney".

And you can bet the PeTA people would order the scene where Mongo punches the horse to be taken out. And Vegans would nix the campfire scene.

There weren't any slaves in "Song of the South". It was Uncle Remus telling the story of Brair Bear.

VH1 ran the original "nigga" clip on their "I Love the 70s" last night and Sunday night.

Because of PC, nobody remembers that, at the time, the joke was June Cleaver interpreting jive for a couple of black guys to a white stewardess...not that she said the dreaded "N" word.

I think it was both -- that she had what today would be called Street Creds and she used N the same way they do in the streets.

IMO, "Team America; World Police" holds the top spot. It got Sherry Lansing fired.
