Actually, acetone "eats" fake fingernails. Lots of women have fake nails, therefore they use acetone free nail polish remover, in between visits to Little Saigon.

Don’t use the little measuring cup things for acetone. That’s what styrofoam coffee cups are for.

I hear in Mexico they prefer using:
2 parts acetone
7 parts automatic transmission fluid
4 parts isopropal
1 splash of triple sec
