Full disclosure: Ive never read a word of HP. There are a lot of people who have never read a word of HP. Myself included. I've never seen the movies either. I just have no interest in it. I've been looking for books to get my nephews for Christmas. Goblins, witches, ghosts and vampires dominate the shelves. I decided on some Jack London books.

You are so right - I read she’s a big friend of Gordon Brown and his wife - says it all - but I admire her intelligence and creativity so much that it’s hard to sit by and see her deluding herself and ruining the HP story for her fans - the first indication of self-destruction was outing Dumbledore - shameful and not necessary...

I have a picture of him starring in Equus but I think I’d get banned if I posted it. He’s in the altogether with a horse and the picture cuts off just in the nick of time (if you catch my drift...)

Huh. So does Danny actually swing that way? Never mind, I’m really not that curious.

Worst book of the series. It was difficult to keep reading on. I can only imagine how difficult it was to write since the author had clearly lost interest herself.

It’s “jump the shark” time for Harry! This pisses me off as much as when TV Land started showing “Enzyte” commercials during the “Andy Griffith” show. One minute Aunt Bee is making an apple pie for Opie, the next there’s a couple talking about how satisfying their sex life is now that Bob’s bigger, firmer and “lasts longer”.

Can’t remember the last post with such a large ignorance-to-word-count ratio.
For my part, I’ve seen the report, and really doubt it’ll end up on the screen.

Best book of the series. Hard to put down. So many intricate plot-threads woven together into a well-crafted conclusion.

"We'll create something that feels very sexy and very intriguing to bring about a reaction in Rupert," Yates told the Telegraph of the scene...There is another scene in King's Cross station, where Harry almost dies and sees Dumbledore. In that scene, he will also be naked." Good grief! Harry Potter?

Gratuitous skin to support flagging interest in the films. How original. /s

Putting this in context, it’s a nightmare of Ron seeing his best friend (Harry) betraying him with the love of his love (Hermine).
It’s not “sexual” in the gratuitous sense; it’s sexual in the this-is-a-bad-thing-to-do-your-best friend sense.

I hope Emma does not stoop to that. She doesn’t need to.

That'd be like me demanding that Charlie Brown and Lucy start getting on just because I'm now an adult.
Personally, I was always a bit suspicious of Lucy and Peppermint Patty. Patty always looked a bit mannish to me

You’re thinking of Peppermint Patty and Marcie.

I think Emma Watson naked is one of the more popular search terms. Or it was in the past. Some gossip sites posted some racy pics of her and they are the posts that generate the most traffic for them. Apparently the thought is to just give people what they want.
