Oops...Amendment. :-)
Liberty has few friends, many detractors and no substitute.
There are some here on FR that would sign it as long as it got rid of things they personally didn’t like. Say porn, for example.
Please tell me this is a bad joke.
People are so gullible. Who needs to give out cigarettes in exchange for votes when we have idiots who volunteer their ignorance?
Incredible but not surprising.
But while I'm here, would you be interested in signing my petition to outlaw dihydrogen monoxide? Here are just some of the problems associated with this chemical:
Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
Prolonged exposure to solid DHMO causes severe tissue damage.
Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
DHMO is a major component of acid rain.
Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.
Contributes to soil erosion.
Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
Thermal variations in DHMO are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.

NEW WORLD ORDER
Everyone agrees old ideas are out of date. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guns ... we do not need ... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God help us in our day, in Jesus day. Amen.
or Sarah Palin...
That’s the problem: on what basis can a free people ban modes of expression that do not create actual hazards or which do not threaten force or inflict fraud? Our Constitution was in fact intended for a moral people, and is dependent for its survival upon one. But the enforcement of such morality must be drawn as narrowly as possible consistent with the fundamental purposes of self-government.
Otherwise, and in time, mere prejudices can come to supplant the objective rule of law.
That is what I like about this place. You occasionally find folks who have not only read their history, they understand what they just read, and they think it's a pretty good idea.
Now... if we can just get more folks on board, we might just celebrate with a Tea Party. ;-)
Reminds me of the Man Show video of the petitions to “End Women’s Suffrage!” LOL!
Being against DHMO is no worse than the insanity to make Carbon Dioxide a pollant. (Yes I know what DHMO is, I’m sipping some right now with a little bit of honey )
This is why I keep telling you it is time to go head to head with these DEM voters. They are killing us faster and faster each day. Take one example, each time some is convinced to think a moral item it OK such as homosexuality, they move away from true morality. Democrats are full a “new truth” and false worship. Then they don’t know how to identify good or evil. Then they tear down the things that protect and keep them safe. A certain person who I have given up on and you continue with has sunk so far she does not know which end is up. Yes this is true and the kool aid drinkers on the other side are almost to their final resting place her on earth.
How about a few MILLION as in 95% of the voting African Americans, 72% of the voting Jewish Population, 70% of seniors. After looking at those numbers that gave us Obama, nothing surprises me. Our problem in this country is twofold: Apathy and Ignorance.
like the women who signed the petition to “end women’s sufferage”?
When presented with this fact, 50% of Americans responded "I didn't know that". The other 50% responded with "I don't care."
That’s OK. I’ve got a T-shirt from a Society of Professional Journalists event reading, “Supporting the First Ammendment.”
