Skip to comments. How come there are Mitt Romney videos everywhere on FR?
Posted on 03/21/2010 3:40:52 PM PDT by AlanD
I don't understand. Are the 2012 GOP Presidential Primaries being held this year?
And I totally support his opposition to gun-grabbing Mitt.
welcome to the jungle.
not everything on this planet makes sense.
Romney is a non starter.
He is a big spending, RINO.
He is a no go.
Because the management of FR does not like Romney. I suspect the closer he gets to the nomination the more videos you will see.
We don’t like him.
Yeah, Romney may be a RINO opportunist but if he’s the nominee against King Hussein the First I’ll still crawl over broken glass to get that RINO elected.
Jim Robinson does not like Mitt Romney. I don’t either, although I don’t feel quite as strongly about it.
Fine, you don’t like him. But last time I checked, this is 2010, not 2012. Oh well . . .
Like Jim, my current mental outlook says to me that RINOs should be shoot on sight. Now this is only figurative, but it expresses my zero tolerance policy.
If it isn’t clear today why the days of go along to get along MUST be over, then it never will be.
Onward now to remove the Democrats, to remove our inglorious bastards like John McCain, and to replace them with men and women who are aligned with the tea party principles.
This shit ends now G D it.
Liberals generally aren't.
Mitt RomneyCARE (D, RINO): "I'm not running as the Republican view
or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.
(Backstabber Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldnt make any sense at all.""
-- President Ronald Reagan
Mitt RomneyCARE (D, RINO): I'm very clear I think, to the people across the Commonwealth
my "R" didn't stand so much for Republican as it does for reform."
(Video, accessed 9/19/07)
"A political party cannot be all things to all people.
It must represent certain fundamental beliefs
which must not be compromised to political expediency
or simply to swell its numbers."
-- President Ronald Reagan
There will be a long line behind you——
Romney is running for the presidency (again). Many of us here oppose his candidacy, and so we have the videos which expose his liberalism.
I support Mr. Robinson for the exact reasons—that, and there are videos of him stating that he is pro-abort, I think—though he denies it now.
Don’t begrudge Mitt Romney. TONIGHT IS MITT’s NIGHT.
Mitt Romney IS ROMNEYCARE IS OBAMACARE. Go Mitt.
To get rid of the Romney-bots... doncha know... LOL ...
aim higher - vote realistically
Romney is part of the problem, NOT the solution to anything!
It just seems like he’s everywhere because he’s on people’s mind. I can’t remember the psychological term, but it’s like when you’re pregnant, suddenly everywhere you look it seems like you see other pregnant women. They were always there, you just didn’t notice them before.
At least Romney has not called people who want the borders protected “racists” like Palin’s friend McCain has.
I was glad to see Rick Santorum out there fighting today. He is better than all of McCain’s pals raising money for McCain - like Mitt, Palin, Jeb, Fred, Pawlenty, Flake, Kyl, Huckerbie, Graham-nesty.
I would take Santorum or Paul Ryan over these people any day.
Well if Romney is the candidate, I will vote for him or anyone else running against the jackass in the Whitehouse.
I voted for Romney in the primary because Fred dropped out the day before. Back then McCain wasn’t an option, still isn’t and never will be. :)
I find it quite annoying. Romney wasn’t my first, second, or third choice in ‘08, but I don’t see how he’s evil incarnate. I’m reading his new book right now and it’s quite good.
If in ‘12 there’s no Mitch Daniels or David Petraeus, I will probably support Romney.
Better that than 4 more years of Obama.
Fine, you dont like him. But last time I checked, this is 2010, not 2012. Oh well . . .
Romney and the Romney-bots (here on Free Republic) are running right now... :-)
Lots of Romney-bashing going one, but what’s with Sarah Palin supporting John McCain? Sheesh!
OK. You are now are being watched.
Wasn’t Reagan once a democrat and even pro-choice?
I take it you all who are against Romney would not have
bothered voting for Reagan given his party switch.
Is that s satire?
Let’s unite against Obama and his radical agenda. We can all orry about Romney in 2012. I don’t think he will win anyway.
I don’t like Romney, but I don’t like the bombarbment of anti-Romney videos either. I have a brain.
Some would turn FR into a wing of the Romney election team if allowed...
Romney is not a conservative...FR at it's core supports conservatives as well as a Constitutional Gov't...That's the way I see it, and support it...
Romney fails at both...
He has started his campaign! Just a RINO testing what lies he can get away with!
Likely it is because Romney is already campaigning as if it were 2012. If the Stupak-like Romney is allowed to build up too much momentum, things will get even worse.
Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."
If you are fortunate and stay on Free Republic long enough, it will be 2012 before you know it.
Even if he loses in 2012, Mitt will still be running for 2016. After all, he never stopped running after 2008.
I agree with you. The site owner would rather continually bash a brilliant man who is liberal in SOME areas than spend that space bashing someone who is liberal in ALL areas. It is very annoying, but it’s his site, he can do what he wants. BTW, I don’t believe there are two people on the planet who would agree on every single item.
You do know who Jim Robinson is right?
Romney dropped out before my primary. I had Alan Keyes on my ballot, so I voted for him over McCain.
Thank you...I needed a laugh this afternoon!
Mitt Romney is a very dangerous RINO that is being pushed by the RINOs among the establishment Republicans, and needs to be stopped.
It just took me six page reloads to get a Romney video.
I wasn’t a Romney supporter outside of the few weeks it was either him or McCain, but as you can see here attacking Giuliani and Romney was more important than defeating Obama.
As you can see, it’s done wonders for us. Free Republic is a great site because of its contributors, not its owner.
The majority of real conservatives do not like Romney. He’s a sleek rich-kid statist spouting conservative rhetoric at campaign time. That’s a formula which has been employed successfully by RINOs for many decades. Only those who want another G.W. Bush or McCain should support him. He spent many millions in 2008 and came in behind the likes of Huckabee and McCain! This big-business “suit” will not draw the independent vote which is needed to win.
