Heh, I’ve had (have) cats that will just put up with that kind of thing because it trusts you and just does not want to take the effort to squirm. If the cat was PO’d or hurting he would let you know in no uncertain terms. Besides, if you do irritate the cat too much he might crap in your shoe as well deserved revenge.
