Don't disregard the wisdom of people like Rove

You know, many mediocre politicians are using the tea party as a vehicle to get elected.. It's weird. Many politicians claim they are conservative but don't have a track record we can check. Other politicians who are truly conservative, but unfortunately have this long track record, are brutally attacked for any little mistake they made in the past. This is ridiculous.

Maybe the best way to get true conservatives elected is to put substance over rhetoric.

Nothing like giving the hornet’s nest a good whack with a baseball bat, I say.

My problem with Rove was his childish behavior after the Delaware primaries. He should have kept his mouth shut and gotten behind the candidate.

Instead, he went after O’Donnell like a typical rat. He did more harm than good.

As far as I know, he has yet to apologize for this. Until he does, he can try to peddle his opinion on MSNBC.

mediocre politicians

That is what we want, not the "professionals"; they're killing the country.

Please go away troll!

Karl “Tokyo” Rove betrayed the Republican party by blasting the party’s candidate after the primary election.

You are an example of a person who appears to have learned exactly all the wrong lessons from the last couple of years. If we use your method of selecting politicians, where we stick with the old tried-and-true bunch with "experience", we get exactly what we've had: a bunch of establishment, power-mad yokels who screw the country over every chance they get.

You say that a bunch of mediocre politicians ran on the Tea Party's back? How do you define "mediocre"? John McCain is a very experienced, polished politician with a long record we can look at, and I wouldn't vote that liberal son-of-a-gun dog catcher. In fact, we could put in 100 dyslexic retards in the Senate and have a less destructive outcome than what they've done. At least a "mediocre" politician might have some common sense left, common sense that says "Hey, maybe voting in a 2,000 page bill that we haven't read yet is a bad idea." Your polished, professional politicians didn't have that sense, so how could a "mediocre" politician do any worse?

I agree with you. Sometimes I see some Freepers behave like the DUers: being extreme to both end. They promote a cult of personality and at the same time ‘banning’ and labeling a person for one thing that they don’t agree with.
