Lost Horizon musical?? Lost Horizon was a GREAT movie. Why would anyone want to screw it up with a musical?

It was the ‘70s. It is so bad, it has to be seen to be believed.

“Lost Horizon musical??”

Actually, it was a great musical, just couldn’t compete with the musical, “A Bridge Too Far” playing at the same time.

I saw the 1973 musical version on TV. It was unbelievably bad. The original 1937 version was wonderful.

Anne of a Thousand Days was an excellent historical novel. I never saw the movie, but I wonder why he had to change the title?

‘The Christmas List,’ one of my favorite humorous Christmas TV movies. The premise was better than the actual movie, but I still liked it. A woman makes a wish list for Christmas. She starts getting her wishes.

Monty Python’s “The Death of Mary Queen of Scots” was much funnier, IMO.

I saw it the 1973 version also on TV. I remember the NBC announcer saying...”And Now, Ross Hunter’s Hit motion Picture, LOST HORIZON”!

Thought I was gonna puke.
