Everytime I think of Candy's occupation (shower curtain ring salesman) in the movie, I burst out laughing.
Roy: Hey, I hope you don’t mind, I got up a little early, so I took the liberty of milking your cow for you. Yeah, it took a little while to get her warmed up, she sure is a stubborn one, whew.
[Takes a drink from the bucket]
Mr. Boorg: We don’t have a cow. We have a bull.
Roy: I’m gonna brush my teeth.
My Cousin Vinnie, and Get Shorty, are a zillion times funnier than Tootsie.
Chocolate Mouse!
Airplane 2 is pretty good.
The two things that made it epic was the ticket scalper selling lunar shuttle tickets scene and Shatner. Shatner made that movie.
John Candy - now that's a guy I really miss, I was the biggest SCTV fan back in the day.
"Irony can be really ironic, sometimes."
Hillary Flammond: My uncle was born in America.
Nick Rivers: Oh, really?
Hillary Flammond: But he was one of the lucky ones. He managed to escape in a balloon during the Jimmy Carter presidency.
Where are The Producers and Duck Soup?
Agreed,. A comedy classic.
Title?
The original “Producers” with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder is perfection. A friend had recommended it to me, and I watched it on TV all by myself. I laughed myself to tears. What a wonderful movie.
Agreed. The scene were Joe Pesci in MCV walks into the courtroom in the magician suit because the judge ordered him to respect the courts dress code for lawyers and it’s the only suit the rental store in town had me on the floor dying.
No mention yet of “High Anxiety.” The Birds spoof was classic.
Never could stand the photo of whomever it was in women’s clothing and glasses and that prevented me from ever wanting to see the movie.
Oh my gosh... forgot about Arthur. We loved THAT MOVIE.
Funny and sad all in one.
It was. I love Mel Brooks.
This is the best I could do, but it’s worth watching:

We watch this a few times during the year. It’s a classic and so damned funny. Oh my gosh, laughing now even. John Candy...what a talent. He is missed but has left some very funny movies to makes us all laugh. I think too in his personal life he was a GOOD man.
“Monet Pit.”
A charming story about a struggling French winery...
I’m trying to flesh out a story about a Jamaican submarine caught up in Cold War intrigue... “The Hunt for Dread October.”
